Living alone and forgotten by almost all those he loved, life does not seem to have much in store for a depressed writer. That until one day, when a mysterious apparition from outside the physical world decides to show him new ways of thinking through intelligent and sometimes humorous observations that challenge the status quo, which will bring change to his life forever. A change that, as he will soon learn, comes first and foremost from within himself. About the The author has had his fair share of life disappointments and obstacles, which inevitably led to him questioning human relationships, society and even life itself. In an effort to regain control over himself, he resorted to reading books on psychology, spirituality and self-improvement and as a result, his own philosophy of life was born, which he would adopt and follow forever since that moment. A philosophy comprised of ideas the author wishes to share with others through the creation of this book.
The main character in this story is at a low ebb in their life susceptible to paranormal experiences. Insightful writing contains some thought-provoking ideas. Belial has a sense of humour which permeates it's life lessons. This is a short text, so can easily be re-read.
This is a book with a positive message reiterated entertainingly in a way that resonates.
I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.
Over all this book was well written and thought out. I admire how the writer used his personal experiences, which made it much more believable. The book was easy to understand and read through. I actually liked this book, and will look for future writings of said author.
This was an interesting read - it's part self-help, part story. This book brings up some interesting philosophical points, and gets the reader thinking. A quick and easy read, that you should be able to finish in an afternoon.
Belial's Teachings So it took me a while to think about what I was going to say about this book. I was left feeling abit blank. Definitely in a new refreshed way, I felt like my mind was clear. I really connected with the 'tiny human' and truly felt for him, he was in a very dark place and Belial saved him by teaching him some very important life lessons. My favourite part of this book has to be Belial's sense of humour. As serious as this book is there is the perfect balance of humour and love.
This is not my usual type of read but I can massively appreciate the writing and the message within it.
