They met in the theater and were married on the stage using Marlowe's famous love letter from "The Passionate Shepherd to His Love" as their wedding vows.

Pretty predicatable YA novel from the late '80s/early '90s. My oldest likes these books but I have to pause a lot and explain about casual racism and fat-shaming in these books.
