The contributors are a pack of fine scholars on Christian history, and the outlook is global. The history of Eastern Orthodox, Coptic, other churches of Africa, Asia, etc. all get decent coverage. And the book is a stimulus for Christians of all these backgrounds to appreciate and learn from each other.
