Photographs of puppies are given simple imaginary dialogue for young readers to enjoy. The end of the book contains discussion questions, further reading ideas, video and website recommendations, and a glossary.

I picked this up to read with a toddler puppy-loving niece. She could care less about the text, but loved the photos of the puppies. A nice emergent reader series for animal lovers.
