This is an excellent short review of the period between 1660 and 1688 in British history. It is organized thematically, which makes it much easier to keep the issues at stake clearly in mind. Seaward thoughtfully defines terms that would have confused me. By the end he has created a vision of the period that allowed me to see how it related to the events that preceded and followed it. This book is an very good place to start reading about the Restoration.
