Leona causes all sorts of controversy when she steps out wearing her new hat that is green on one side and red on the other, and everyone she meets only sees one side or the other.
Dr. Suess is the children’s literature legend. He is the one and only that makes rhythmic books for young children’s. Just like all the other books he has wrote, they tell a silly story with a lesson to it. The illustrations catch the eye of any reader and keeps them hooked until the last page. I think the only thing I would change is that this book have more words on each page, that way the students can advance in a healthy way by reading these books. I would only use this book in my class room if I was teaching kindergarten. Not only is this a good book for children to learn to read from, but this book is all about colors and objects. If I use this book it would open up so many options for what to teach next. I could teach the students all the different colors, or I could teach them about all the objects in the book.
