Some family secrets are best left buried. Ophelia Hunt travels to her family’s ancestral home in Savannah, Georgia, to help her beloved grandmother get her affairs in order. Highly entertaining, engaging, emotionally gripping, action packed romantic adventure for two souls destined to be together.

Ophelia Hunt travels home to Savannah, Georgia to help her grandma set her affairs in order and gets a unexpected magical inheritance. Anatoli La Croix is a witch, his soul was trapped in a glass bottle by an evil warlock bent on gaining immortality. Could the beautiful witch who purchased his bottle at an antique shop be the one to break his curse? Loved every heart pounding twist and turn.

Interesting. Ok, so now you ask is that good or bad. It is a good interesting. There was something about the story that made me want to read more. Like the bottle that called to Ophelia. She is in Savannah to help settle her Gramma's belongings and runs across a bottle in a shop. Not knowing why, she just knows she MUST have this bottle. Right away we have a little mystery. Ophelia really does not know her past or her family legacy. Witches, warlocks, and magick? Those are not real... right? I loved how Ophelia came to know the truth, to believe. Hopefully not too late though. Anatoli has been held prisoner in a bottle. The result of a duel with an evil warlock who wants to out live everyone. He is drawn to Ophelia in such a way that makes the reader wonder, just what is it. There is obviously more going on here. There is an HEA and this is a standalone. I felt like the ending was rushed a bit. The story is good but it needed more, not just have everything dumped in at the end.

This was an okay read. I thought it was interesting and I liked the set up but for me things just changed without them feeling natural. Ophelia doesn't believe in magic and is very sure about that until things start happening that she can't really explain. Her Gramma has always talked about witches and being a witch as well. Ophelia makes a faster turn towards starting to believe than I expected her to, than what felt natural to me. It didn't ruin the story it just threw me off a little bit. Anatoli has been trapped in a glass bottle for a long time and has hope when Ophelia buys the bottle. She is drawn to him and feels comforted by his ghostly presence even though she isn't sure that she believes. This was a bit of a fun story to read around Halloween time though because of the ghostly aspect. Overall, I enjoyed the story, just thought it could have been a little bit better.

This is a story about Ophelia having to return home to help her ailing grandmother get her affairs in order. She ends up purchasing a glass jar that holds the soul of Anatoli.

I loved Lia's take on Witches, warlocks and demon's. I had thought Anatoli might be a genie, but he's not, lol. He was imprisoned in the jar and the one who put him there wants him returned.

This was a very enjoyable read. I felt like it was a super sweet love story with Anatoli and Ophelia. On top of that, my husband's grandma has lived with us for almost 6 years now. So the interactions between Ophelia and her grandmother really hit home.

This is a complete story, I don't think there will be another in the series. Which was really enjoyable to have a story feel super wrapped up.

This one is a bit different than most ghost stories I would say. I love good ones that is what drew me to it because it promised one. They have a excellent sitting for this story having been there and seen it. The history pulsates around there. Ophelia is there for her grandmother but I also think she needs to be there. As it starts out it picks you interest but then she gets her bottle. Mysterious is a bit what it is. As this unfolds I do think as she gets deeper into what is going on with her changing her thoughts I find myself quickly becoming immersed in this. One thing though as Anatoli is revealed more bit by bit I do not think of him quite like a ghost. I do believe he is something else but oh well this is one romance that has magic all over it. I got through it quickly with I could see them as a series with other things happening I liked them that much.

This book is short, but it packs a punch. It is well written and a beautiful love story between a ghost and a witch. They have to fight an evil warlock so they can have an HEA!

This book was amazing Ophelia was great and Anatoli was amusing as the ghost in a jar. This was the type of great book I would expect from Lia Davis so I was not surprised that I enjoyed it so much. I would love to see another book like this .

I really wanted this book to be longer, to have the details fleshed out more. But, in all, it was a good story though it could have used another editor's pass to get rid of some of the typos.
