Seminar paper from the year 2015 in the subject Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, Northumbria University, English, The aim of this paper is to establish and investigate specific aspects relating to quality in the construction industry, particularly those that have not previously been approached or fully researched, and ascertain areas that researchers consider still need to be addressed. In the text, research literature concerning quality in the construction industry is reviewed. The literature review gathers historical information from previous studies, and covers data from papers and journals published between 1950 and 2015, but will focus mainly on the past five years. At this stage of the project, a mixed method study will be adopted to collect facts and study the relationship between them, as well as trying to understand the opinions of the individuals involved. It will also identify who the prominent researchers are in the field of quality in the construction industry.
