All the Glory Goes to God

Rate this book
Early in his fishing voyage Louis Jordan broke his shoulder, and Angel, his sailboat, lost her mast, exposing her broadside and vulnerable to the Atlantic ocean's violent, stormy waves. CNN's sources reported there being over a dozen storms while he was out through a nor'easter, and through winter storm Juno, a storm that set 100's of records for snowfall, and cold temperatures.Being stuck in a violent environment with a broken shoulder, he made the decision to study the Holy Bible in order to learn how to pray with true faith, for protection, guidance, and ultimately for salvation. After his shoulder healed he raised a jury-mast, created a jury-rudder, and was sailing back home, before he was rescued.Louis tells his account of how the only thing that enabled him to survive was praying non-stop all night throughout each violent storm and how it was only when he quit praying, even if to sleep, that Angel (the boat was named that before he bought her) was capsized. He caught fish using a hand-net, and lured them out of hiding with his laundry. He recounts sailing beside 2 killer whales, testing a deadly man-o-war for edibility, being catapulted over-board with a broken shoulder, going through several capsizes, a giant whirling pillar of water crashing into Angel, both capsizing and flooding her all at once, and the lessons learned while seeking true faith while out alone in one of the most brutal environments. Learn how he survived 66 days in a small sailboat in the middle of the stormy Atlantic ocean. He was lost at sea for 66 days. There are 66 books in the Holy Bible (KJV) that he had with him, a book that he constantly read. There are 66 chapters in the Book of Isaiah, whose name means "YHVH Is Salvation".
