This supplement to Public Health and Related Laws of North Carolina updates the 2007 annotated edition to reflect legislative changes through 2009. The 2007 book includes the public health chapter of the General Statutes (Chapter 130A), as well as selected excerpts from other chapters addressing matters of interest to public health agencies, such as public records and open meetings, drinking water wells, health care for minors, and emergency management. The 2009 supplement reflects amendments to the laws contained in the 2007 book, such as changes to the state's childhood immunization program, and also includes significant new laws, such as the statewide ban on smoking in restaurants and bars.
