Read my friend's signed copy and plan to order one for myself. I love this it! .....a great collection of ideas and inspiration for bringing light into yours and other's lives. It's the kind of book I'd keep lying around to open to a random page when I need a bit of wisdom or advice ....For example, "Enjoy the journey. Don’t focus on the destination.The journey is an opportunity for adventure,discovery, and connection. There’s light in each step." I think this book would make a nice gift for someone.

I was fortunate enough to buy a signed copy from the author - the gracious Mikaela Katherine Jones. I have kept her first book, The Little Book of Light: One Hundred Eleven Ways to Bring Light into Your Life, on my bedside table and have for the last six years given it to many of my clients and friends because it is great inspiration during hard times - and times we just want some guidance.

This new book is a wonderful continuation of Mikaela's first work - and will soon be a classic. Like the first book (if you don't have it - buy it!) - it is one that you can put on your night stand, in your work desk drawer, by your couch or reading chair - near your journal. Although there are 365 ways of bringing quality of life - you can pick this book up and open it anywhere - - somehow the guidance is just what we need to hear, ponder, support. Mikaela Jones is a very wise woman who has a way of expressing things in a short burst that goes straight to the heart.

I believe that as with her first book - this is one that I will be buying and giving to Jungian Analysis clients, friends, and family - - great support and a great gift.

Wow, what a great find! I've been going through some challenges lately and this little gem has helped soooooo much. It is chock-full of comfort & inspiration - great uplifting reminders for heart & soul.
I actually use it as a kind of a journal workbook. First, I read through the entire book - journaling on the thoughts and feelings the various entries evoked. I'll be "chewing" on the "nuggets" unearthed in that process for years to come! Now, every morning, I let my intuition randomly pick a page and I use whichever message appears as a kind of focus and meditation for that day. Mmmmm, it's become such an incredibly nourishing practice. I can't recommend this lovely little book enough - it has been such an invaluable tool for self-discovery and healing. If you know anyone who could use a little encouragement and reassurance, brighten their day by surprising them with a copy and spread the love! :)

This is a great and timely book. Being inundated with one tragic event after another, The Little Book of Light offers a respite from that. It can be read in a linear fashion or you can let the spirit guide you and open it up to a page and let it bless you.

I read the book in a couple of days and now I let the spirit lead my reading. Mikaela's wisdom and light shine in the passages that can be thoughts to contemplate or intonations to practice to relieve stress and become peaceful.

I promise if you buy the book and put the quotes into action, you'll have a better life. Do yourself a favor and read it.

This book is great for flipping open and bringing a few moments of peace and warmth to your day. I have a mindfulness practice, and this book fits well with it, but I also think it would be good for someone new to mindfulness. I found it helpful for taking me out of moments of stress and giving me a fresh perspective. It would make a great gift for a stressed out friend.
