It's almost Valentine's Day, and Carlos and Carmen don't have any cards for their class! So they spend the day making valentines. They make big valentines and little valentines. They make valentines with glitter and valentines with stickers. Mamá and Papá think the twins may have made too many valentines. I loved the clear storyline, the use of Spanish vocabulary intertwined into the story, the rich vocabulary, and the repetition of more complex words to give readers a chance to recognize what they look like. The illustrations offered great support to the text.
