Discusses the history of TV programming, networks, stations, FCC and the interrelationships with society and the U.S. economic system.

A nice concise sociological collection of essays from different authors showing why TV is biased in certain ways even without intending to be so.

Although perhaps out of date in some ways (i.e. before internet), many principles still look valid and this would be a good book as an historic reference.
