This is a book of famous people's interaction with their pets. Part I - with dogs, part II - with cats, part III - with all sorts of other animals. Lots of quotes, poems, epitaphs, and some interesting stories. The book is not for learning, just for amusement, sort of vacation reading.
Got the book from Gutenberg website, downloaded on Kindle. Don't know if the book was written this way, or the website changed the layout, but I wish the paragraphs were designed differently. Started reading a paragraph about one famous person, a few lines later realize that the author is talking now about another one. Have to go back to see where one story ends and another starts.
