A collection of Sir Robert Borden's letters from 1933 until his death in 1937, published by his nephew, Henry Borden. Sir Robert wrote with passion and formality and no shortage of words. While he withdrew from politics due to failing health and refused to be drawn back in to the political fray, he certainly still had opinions. The most interesting letters surprisingly were a few about family pets and those at the end regarding the abdication of King Edward in order that he might marry twice divorced Wallace Simpson.
