Waterfowl Ecology and Management

Rate this book
Scientifically exhaustive, exquisitely illustrated, an incomparable addition to your personal and professional libraries… The distillation of more than 1,600 scientific papers and reports garnered from sources around the world, this awesome compendium summarizes virtually all that is currently known about North American waterfowl—their feeding ecology, mortality, courtship, reproduction, and much more. At the same time, the authors never lose sight of crucial issues surrounding waterfowl management, both from the standpoints of habitat and official policy. Featuring more than 100 photographs as well as artist D. Andrew Saunders’s elegant illustrations, Waterfowl Ecology and Management is an attractive and important new work.

Great reference for waterfowl behavior and management techniques. I'd suggest this book even for academically minded waterfowl enthusiast.
