Absolutely pointless waste of paper. I do not understand how anyone can give this book a positive rating, unless they're reading a different book than I am. Totally lacking in context, only briefest introductions to nation and regions, no overview introduction to cities just straight into short descriptions of a very small number of sights. Reads like it was thrown together by a committee of people who were tasked to fill up a book promptly, each person just throwing in the briefest descriptions of a seemingly random collection of sights, restaurants, hotels, never with enough information or context to be useful in planning a trip. I mean, this is a guidebook for FAMILIES and it doesn't even mention Gardaland?
Purchased this book just before a 2-week holiday to the Norceni Girasole Eurocamp near the town of Figline Vardano. The book was very packed with information and helped us find nearby places to visit.
