A History of Cromer Beach Mission 1883-2016

Rate this book
There is something very domestic about this story - about what happened on a beach in Cromer, North Norfolk and its surrounds - but it is also about something very remarkable. It speaks of the persistence of faith, and the determination to share what is the most important thing that has ever happened to those concerned; something that changed their lives. It speaks of hundreds of young men and women spending tens of thousands of hours playing on the beach, sharing their faith - and a lot of fun - with thousands of children and their families. It speaks of a period stretching more than one hundred and twenty years, from Victorian days to the present day, and it is only as you put together the facts and build up the picture, filling in the details, that the full impact of this Mission begins to be experienced and understood. This Third Edition has been updated to include details of the Mission up to 2016 and is published to mark CSSM/Scripture Union's 150th Anniversary in 2017.
