A Country Song For Christmas

Rate this book
Country singing sensation, Nash Bentley, has a secret… He’s gay. Fear of losing his fans - and ultimately, his career - keeps him in the closet. It’s not until he brings his drummer, Dalton Dresher, home for Christmas that he starts to question if it’s worth hiding anymore. Dalton is happy to keep their love quiet, but it tears Nash apart. Why should he have to keep his relationship a secret? Could his love for Dalton be what makes or breaks Nash's singing career?

Andria Large is a traditionally published and self-published contemporary romance author. She doesn’t always follow the rules, so you will find both M/F and M/M books mixed into some of her series.

Henry from the Beck Brothers Series was the first book she self-published. Not expecting anything to really come of it, she was shocked to find the book caught wind and readers were asking for more. Writing books was not something she had set out to do. She wrote stories for herself, as a hobby. Now that it has become her career, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Andria grew up in Philadelphia, but now lives in New Jersey with her two daughters and wonderfully supportive husband, who frequently accompanies her at signings. The events that she attends every year are one of her favorite things about being an author. She loves meeting and conversing with her readers, but also enjoys finding new ones.

Andria considers herself open and friendly, so feel free to send her a message if you have a question or just want to chat.

Holiday Novella

This is a quick, flirty Novella about Nash and Dalton - band mates who discover each are gay and how they deal with hiding their relationship. Love Andria and the only thing is a wish it was a little longer

I'm not even sure where to start...it was kind of a 'wtf did I just read' book for me.

It read like a Dick & Jane book, very stilted & robotic. If it hadn't been mentioned several times that these guys were 30+ I would have thought they were 17 at most.

The worst part (maybe?) was the 18 year old sister walking in on these 2 just as they finish up fucking. When her parents get home she actually runs to them and say 'I saw Nash & Dalton naked in bed together'....seriously?! Who the fuck does that...oh, and this happens after she purposely walks into the bathroom to catch Dalton naked. The sister is an asshole & the 2 guys are absolutely tstl.

I expect a certain amount of cheesiness with holiday books but this goes way beyond that...

3,5*

PLEASE READ FIRST MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit.):

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King,
'Save that he kids' series from EM Leya or
'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like
an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times (most romances where you can enjoy
for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but
not really an often reread book

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok) It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

It is a heart-warming book, about a country singer and his drummer.
They basically fall for each other, although it is quite a problem with Nash, the singer, 'cause he's famous and coming out might be bad for his career.
But then again, this is a HEA story, so nothing bad happens.
The only problem I have with this book its how short it is. I wish we can get more of Nash and Dalton.
I think I'm in love with Andria Large's writing so I'm gonna read a few more books of her.

Perfect Christmas love story!

Loved the story line. I only wished we found out what happened after the kiss in time square. Did coming out ruin their careers?

This was a quick Christmas novella about accepting who you are regardless of what others may think. The story was good my only wish was it was a full book!

Great story

I loved this book, it was sweet and hot but needed to be much longer!! I'd love a full length series about the rest of the band that includes more of these 2😀
