Not crazy about this author's writing style, it is very overwrought and flowery. But there were times when that served the story well. This is a man who finds himself struggling with the abortion issue. The book has some very powerful moments. I wish he had gotten a little more into the emotional aftereffects of the abortion on him and his wife. I was not surprised to learn that the man and woman broke up afterwards.
