The new action-packed Western adventure from “Hard Ride To Cora” bestseller Cherokee Parks. This is the Old West… Parks style!
The 1880s were a violent and harsh time all across America, but none more so than in Texas and the Indian Territories. Lawlessness was rampant, and the law was only beginning to gain a foothold. Heroes and villains gained in notoriety as the “Penny Novel” made its impact on young and old minds alike. And while we know the names of the most notorious and fabled, there were so many more names that were lost to time.
Jase Pinto is but one of those lost names, as he faded in and out of history like a ghost – supporting law and order wherever he traveled. Whether with his knives, his Winchester, or his Colt, Pinto doled out justice to some of the worst outlaws in the Territories and North Texas.
Who was this mysterious man known as Jase Pinto? Only a chosen few ever knew his secret, or his real identity. Pinto’s Run reveals his story, and how the legend began.
This definitely one of the most impressive western novels I have ever had the opportunity to read. There was never a dull moment throughout the entire story. I was completely overwhelmed with the storylines and selection of the characters. Mr. Cherokee Parks does an exceptionally job of maintaining my complete interest throughout the entire book. There was exceptionally well coordinated camaraderie accentuated throughout the entire story. Most definitely a story to pass along to family and friends!
Almost embarrassing to only award five stars to a story of this magnitude. I have read many great stories over the past year, plus, and this excellent western creates the successfulness of Pinto's Run!
This story is not only an exciting masterpiece, but it is so believable in many aspects of the entire adventure. Mr. Parks creates a very impressive job in what appears to be an experts representation of true western adventure in dramatic fashion.
Yes, without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this story to all lovers of great western romance and enough gunfights to maintain your complete interest! Do yourselves a favor and follow Mr. Parks great storylines of our real old western excitement!
Pinto's Run: A Western Adventure ( The Trouble in Texas Western Series Book 2)
The characters in this western were clear, consise and totally irresistable. Jase the perfect hero who did everything he saw as needed for all the right reasons. It was fast paced and a total page turner from the second page. It was artfully toned in it's wording . It is just exactly the kind of western an old cowgirl like me just loves to get lost in. 👏👏BRAVO
While the set up seemed a little bit contrived when compared with most Western I've read I cannot say which of them has it right!!! The book reads smoothly from one situation to the next and even though I had some trouble with reading misused pronouns I surely will grab up additional books by this author.
Pinto's Run is book two of the series by Cherokee Parks. I loved the characters of this book. A great story of a young man who finds himself in a difficult situation. He has to go on the run. There's drama and a sweet romance.
