I'm not sure this short book is a "definitive guide" but I enjoyed reading it. It's the author's personal story as much as a guide, but you can learn a lot from listening to people share their experiences, so why not! Speaking of the author: he's Indian, and his ESL-tinged writing might be distracting to some; personally, I found it charming. My favorite bit of wisdom: "Tasty food is not always healthy, but you can always make healthy food tasty."

Very superficial book

I picked up this book because I thought to read some basic running tips but in depth rather than seeing random youtube videos.but i got disappointed. Nothing much new thing to learn...Should be reading books written by more experience runner....

Introduction to running world

Although, this book is a good introduction to running world, it tells very little about what to do in it. It's like, it's simple, download the Nike app.
