This short story/novella tells the story of a 18 year old girl who works in her families dinner in a small town. There were rumors that the town had been invaded long ago by vampire but she doesn't believe it. Her parents had, however, and had planted the fear that vampires might have come to town in her brain so she was ready to believe when some odd people starting showing up.

Then the town recluse came into the dinner and before long they were talking about the vampires, and that was enough to convince here so she starting learning, from the recluse, how to find and kill vampires and ventures out one night to do so.

She never thought she would even be in that position and she is still surprised when the night is over.

I recommend this as a quick, delightful little read (I read it in less than an hour) that is a fun concise read for an afternoon or evening at home.
