Coming Together

In this book Reese is a small business owner of a pet shop. She is so focused on her job, she has yet to let herself find the man to lose her virginity too. Her bff and business partner Leena keeps encouraging her to go out and find someone to relieve her of her virginity, but Reese wants to wait for the one. The right one.

Blaine is a very intelligent and smart CEO of a very successful tech company. He is not interested in settling down past one night. He just doesn't have time with his business. Not just that but it is hard to find an intelligent woman who won't bore him.

At a chance meeting and minute conversation at a wedding Blaine is suddenly wanting to change his rules and get to know the awkward and beautiful woman named Reese that he meets at the wedding.

When Blaine pursues Reese and takes the time to locate her, she decides to give it a shot. When Blaine figures out this woman will not be an easy lay, he starts to wonder if that is all that he really wants.

As their relationship blossoms and starts to really grow, a childhood story has the ability to destroy it all. Will Reese tell Blaine the truth about what she does for a living? Will Blaine leave her when he finds out the truth? Or will a floppy eared little one bring him to his knees?

Another great HEA novel by Mia Ford. She really does know how to write a good love story. With amazing characters and wonderful story plots, you can't help but fall in love with her books.

This book is no different from any of her others. It flows smoothly with lovable characters and intense romance that will burn right off the pages it is so hot. Everything I have come to love about her books and more. A page turner full of love, mystery and challenges of the heart. It will not disappoint.

I've read a book or 2 from Mia Ford and really like her writing,,,,

This is the story of Blaine Butler,,,, he is an Alpha Billionaire who is the CEO of a tech business he built from the ground up after college calked Butler Technologues,,, He is one of those men that are not into relationships,,, he is happy with picking woman up for an hour or two and then making them leave, basicalky,,,he has a best friend Caleb Haynes, whom he met in college,,,, he does the whole going out drinking and finding woman thing with him,,, Caleb has to go to his sister, Caroline's wedding this weekend and does NOT want to go alone,,,, he doesn't want to talk to his family the whole time and he called Blaine and begged and begged him to be his plus one,,,, Blaine usually works 7 days a week, but finally giving in, he decides to accompany his friend Caleb,,,,,

Reece Tenor and her best friend since they were young Lenna, own an animal care center that focused on boarding, grooming, and some care that does not need a veterinarian, they also held spay and neuter clinics once a month, they also take in strays that the shelter didn't have room for,,, with all that going on, she didn't miss needing a man to date, or any kind of relationships, and her friend Lenna keeps telling her that she is missing out on life,,, especially with Reece still being a virgin ,,, but she informed Lenna that she did have plans for Saturday, she had a wedding to go to,,, her friend from way back, Caroline, is getting married,,,

Ok,, I gave you the beginning, almost,,, you can imagine that they are going to the same wedding,,, but you have no idea what happens,,, I found this story kinda cute,,, was a good story to read and I would totally recommend that you go and grab this book,,, you won't be sorry,,,

Blaine is a playboy he is used to sleeping with a woman and giving her walking papers before the sheets even get cold. Reese is very picky about the men she dates so when she meets Blaine and everything click she still thinks its too good to be true. After telling him that she's not the woman he can go for Reese leaves and Blaine is shocked that he still can't get her out of his head. Asking his friend's little sister for her number wasn't easy either cause she agreed with Reese but Blaine still manage to convince to let him have a chance. The next day when she's at work she get a surprise when Blaine calls her an asks her out on a date. She takes a chance an accepts. Blaine knows everything with Reese is different from what he knows but he loves spending time with her. As the dates progress they get more serious with one another until Reese tries to help Blaine through something from his past and it blows up in her face. Will Blaine give Reese another chance? Can the both of them work through their trust issues?

This was a great story with amazing characters. I read this in one setting because I couldn't stop until I knew how it ended. I laughed out loud at parts of this and can't wait to see what she writes next. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great story.

Coming Together...
To be honest and upfront, I only read the first short story in this book, there are a total of five included.
This was my first venture into a Mia Ford book. Overall I really liked the story. I thought the characters were great. They were real. Real issues, problems, and reactions and real solutions to their problems.
Blaine was the cocky rich playboy who is used to getting what he wants.
Reese the awkward, shy, slightly nerdy girl who does not like attention.
They are both content with the life they are living until a chance meeting at a wedding. Reese’s brush off, has Blaine wanting to know more about the one woman who does not crumble and bend to his every whim when he flashes his charming smile. Something that never happens. She’s piqued his curiosity.
This was a quick read, I loved the story. Right up till the end.

*Spoiler Ahead*

It went from “look I’m pregnant”, to...

turn the page and the chapter heading is “One Year Later”. WTH? It was like a whole chunk of their relationship was just omitted. Yes, I realize it was a short story, and things had to be edited out, but that, to me, was a pretty big part of the story. I want to know how they got from that announcement to where they are at the end of the story. Just my own opinion.

This is the first book by Mia Ford I’ve read and I have to say I was not disappointed, the story flowed beautifully from the first page till the end it was full of emotions, romance, love and quirky characters.
Reese hasn’t never had a relationship she’s afraid to have her heart broken so spends her time at the business she runs with her best friend looking after animals. When she goes to her friends wedding she didn’t know it was going to change her life.
Blaine didn’t want to go but his best friend asked him to so here he is at his friends sisters wedding, when he spots the most gorgeous woman, but when she turns him down he can’t stop thinking about her. Blaine is lucky enough to get her number and when she agrees to go on a date he’s excited to spend time with a woman for the first time.
Spending time together they enjoy doing some many different things, can they keep going or will when they both discover they both have things to tell each other will it be the end of them. Come follow the story of Blaine and Resse and how they find in each other what they never new they wanted.

This story is about young woman, Reese who at 21 owns her own pet business with her best friend, Leena and still a virgin. Reese puts a lot of time into her business and finds little time for dating. Leena encourages Reese to get out and find someone to move on from her virginity. Reese stands her ground and wants to wait for the one. Blaine is totally opposite from Reese as he is a CEO of a successful tech company. He is a playboy and has no desire to settle down. There is not free time with running the business and he wants a woman who will intrigue him. They both attend a wedding and have a quick meet and Blaine has a sudden need to change his ways for the beautiful woman, Reese. When Blaine decides to go look for Reese that he wants a chance to have something with her. Reese is a special person and starts to doubt if it’s all worth it! I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow. Will a childhood secret end what’s been growing? Can Reese come clean and tell Blaine what she does for a living and how will he handle it? I recieved this book in exchange for a honest review.

I really liked this book..... I picked it up only planning to read a few chapters until a movie came on. I ended up missing the movie because I couldn't put it down. From the very beginning, it seemed like they wouldn't be able to make it together. They had a lot in common and were similar in a lot of ways but they had one big thing that threatened to keep them apart.... There were parts where they really could have handled things better though

I really thought the baby was going to have a bigger part in it though but I still loved it and loved how they didn't come back together just for the baby like in some books...

I kept thinking. When is the baby going to come in? Does she get pregnant or is supposed to be by a different girl? Those questions really kept my focus on the book. I had to know....

I also thought the dog would play a bigger part but the dog did have a very important part.

I highly suggest giving this book a try..... There is no cheating, no crazy ex, and definitely a happy ending

I love this author and this story. I received this ARC and am happy to provide a review. It was one where a couple meet at a wedding of mutual friends, but Reese just doesn't think she's attractive enough or interesting enough for Blaine, who really isn't looking for anything involved, but doesn't like being turned down. Blaine ends up getting Reese's number, and they begin to date. Reese is holding onto a couple of secrets that she feels they should be kept from Blaine. As the couple get to know each other, they realize that they're very interested in seeing where the relationship could develop. Eventually Reese has to spill her secrets, and while they don't go well in the beginning, this couple turns out to really have a connection. The HEA and the build-up to it, was really very nice. The story did seem to drag a bit in a few places and got a little repetitive with the introspective thinking, etc., but it was a sweet, romantic tale that I'd highly recommend for a light, smiling read.

She loves her job, been around puppies all day make her happy. So happy that she don't want to go out for dates that in the end will break her heart. Well that is until she meets Blaine in a friends weeding. He is handsome and a succesful business owner, but he is also a playboy. And she don't want him to break her heart, so she just stops everything before it begun.

Blaine likes to date, he have not found the ideal woman and he is not in a hurry for it. But when he sees Reeces in his best friend sisters weeding he knows she is special. He makes it happen and she goes out in a date with him. If he plays his cards right she will end up at his apartment right? Wrong!! This will not be so easy...

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Reese and Blaine. Reese is looking for Mr. Right not Mr. Right Now. However the more she looks for him the less she thinks she will ever find him. When she goes to a friends wedding and sees Blaine again she wonders but lets the fear of not finding Mr. Right drive her away. Blaine isn't looking for Mrs. Right he usually only has time for Mrs. Right Now but one look at Reese has him wondering about the what ifs. Can these two find a way to have that HEA or will they both find heartbreak at the end of the tunnel for them?

This book is amazing. It has some ups and downs in it that I really want to tell you about. I don't want to ruin it for anyone else though. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. It will be one of those books that you lock the door, order dinner in and send the kids away until you read those two words, the end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I absolutely loved this story. I liked the fact that this was a story where all the chasing was done by Blaine and that Reese was a woman who made sure Blaine understood she was nothing like the women he may have known before. She wanted the love and connection between someone before she gave herself to anyone. Blaine understood that and respected her for it. He wanted to prove himself worthy of Reese. This was a very well written story. Blaine had a fear he needed to get over and when Reese first heard of it she was afraid it might come between them when she let him know what she did for a living. Once both had a day to cool down and Blaine was able to see that Reese was only trying to help him he realized he couldn't live without her and that for her he would do anything it took to keep her. This story was not only sweet but had a couple who had a lot of chemistry. I loved the HEA!

Reese is a virgin. Blake is player...until he meets Reese that is. She does something to him that makes him want to be around her, and not just for sex. Reese thinks he's wonderful. And while she's hesitant to make Blake her first, (she told him she's not the right girl for him),but she ends up feeling it's the right thing to do, ...finally. What Reese doesn't find out till later is that her job as a pet rescuer could put all that in jeopardy. It's an exciting story with all the "firsts" and the anxieties of new love. These are two very likable people both in new circumstances. Will they make it beyond the first few dates into a relationship or will what they find as differences tear them apart? It's an enjoyable trip through getting to know each other and getting to know themselves a bit better. I got angry with Blain at times as well as frustrated with Reese, but all in all it was an excellent story.

Well written book with great storyline and plot. A sweet romance book.

I love the couples journey towards their HEA. There is fear, drama, passion, emotions, hot scenes, twists and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. Instant attraction. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Love that it has an epilogue.
A story about Reese and Blaine. They are a great and realistic and likeable couple. They are made realistic because they have the same fears and issues most of us have. A story about overcoming fear and letting go. No spoiler here!

Lots of chemistry and hot scenes. I like the main characters and how they develop. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter. The author has delivered a story that is worth the read!

This was an incredibly sweet romance. As soon as I learned Blaine's fear of dogs and what Reese's business was I knew there was going to be fun and games to follow. I was a little angry at Reese for her reaction when Blaine told her his childhood trauma, just cutting him off was quite selfish but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because of her social awkwardness and and because she had never had such an intimate relationship with a man before. It surprised the heck out of me that they were together for so long and Blaine still didn't know what Reese did for a living but I guess they did know a lot more important things, like all the geeky things they had in common. I really thought that the way their relationship progressed was real and touching, I especially appreciated how gentle Blaine was with Reese and how he treasured her.

Reese Tener is beautiful, funny, smart and she owns her own business. She’s got it all except for love—she’s never met the guy to whom she would want to give her virginity. Then she goes to her childhood friend’s wedding.
Blaine Butler is gorgeous, intelligent and has his own highly successful company. He’s not interested in any long term commitments or entanglements—he’s got to keep his business competitive and flourishing. Then he attends the wedding of his best friend’s sister and sees Reese. She’s unlike anyone he’s known before and he definitely wants to get to know her better—but she shoots him down. This just makes him more determined.
I loved this story and the characters! I could hardly put it down and couldn’t wait to get to the end. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Reese is a sweet woman who happens to own a pet shop. She has been all work and no play her adult life. She is down to earth and loves the simple things. Blaine is the complete opposite. He is rich and full of himself. A complete workaholic. When these two meet at a wedding, they definitely felt something for one another. When these two finally decide to explore their feelings it is definitely explosive. One little obstacle stands in their way though Blaine hates dogs and she loves them.
I really enjoyed the story. From the start, I adored Reese. She is just a good person. I hated Blaine and his attitude. I thought he was a stuck up jerk. However, he changed my mind fairly quickly. Reese definitely brought out the good in him. All in all a great story!

There is Reese, who started a business with her best friend right out of high school and at twenty-one has a successful pet business. She is also a virgin, never found anyone she wanted to give herself to as of yet. Then there is Blaine, a rich alpha tech CEO. They meet at a wedding and Blaine can't stop thinking about her. He has always been a playboy and has had no desire to settle down. No one he has met intrigued him, until Reese. Will they get together? Can a childhood incident break them up? Will they be able to make things work? This was an enjoyable book, good character development and story line.

Everything about it was unexpected, but nothing about it was unwanted

Coming together is a wonderful love story of Resse and Blaine by Mia Ford. Blaine, a CEO, Billionaire, Tall, Handsome and a complete playboy who doesn't believe in any relationship and happily ever after, who especially hate dogs with his childhood trauma. Resse is a beautiful business woman, who runs an animal care, shy and virgin, who is waiting for Mr. Right. Though, voluntarily reviewing the ARC of this book, i received, i loved it. It s a nice book to read and relax ad let some extra stress freed, too. I liked the way, Mia had took forward the story, insta love at a wedding and the things follow up with a slow dating process and the baby.

Another wonderful book by Mia Ford. Reese is a young woman too busy for a relationship running her business, an animal sanctuary. She attends a wedding of her friend and meets Blaine a wealthy workaholic and confirmed playboy. Reese catches his eye so he attempts to pick her up. She is not impressed and brushes him off. Not used to being ignored, Blaine is determined to date Reese. He obtains her phone number and she agrees to one date. Blaine and Reese finally begin dating and take things slowly. “Coming Together” has everything to keep you reading, secrets, betrayal, love, and lust. This is an amazing well-written book that I highly recommend.

Awesome contemporary billionaire holiday romance. Blaine has worked hard in the technology field and became a world-class billionaire. He lives the playboy role when he takes time away from business which is rare. Reese and her best friend started their own business right out of high school, and finely are successful. While at a wedding Reese and Blaine meet but she's hesitant to spend much time in his company. Neither main character is looking for a long term relationship but realize they like one another. Surprises happen, attitudes change and friends relationship counsel them but life can get in the way. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Ford.

I read and enjoyed this book as part of the Good Girls Bad Boys box set by Mia Ford is a boxed set that includes the four following books: Inseparable, Forever Yours, The Promise, and Coming Together. Each of the four books focuses on a separate couple and their own story. This is a wonderfully enchanting set of love stories that will be greatly appreciated by anyone who loves a bad boy who is really in love with and willing to do what needs to be done to protect and/or make his good girl happy. I’m the perfect example of a good girl who loved reading about hot bad boys with hearts of gold who are featured in each and every story in this set. This is the perfect read for any contemporary romance lover. Good Girls Bad Boys is a set of heartwarming and seductive romances.

Mia Ford has written another page turner. How she continuously writes such quality pieces of work is a mystery to me put on behalf of her many many fans I'm glad she does.
Blaine and Reese are great characters in this romantic story about a man who can't stand dogs due to a childhood trauma, who meets a woman who has pet care business but he doesn't know it until they have strong feelings for each other. Will floppy ears and wet noses be the undoing of this relationship? Read and find out?
I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

A very sweet enjoyable book from beginning to end. It was a great book written at just the right pace. Amazing character chemistry from the main characters involved in the storyline. I absolutely loved Blaine. He was amazing to read about. Someone that was just wanting a one night stand to finding someone and wanting forever. He was so very sweet from the minute that he meets Reese. Once they go out and hang out with each other he becomes even sweeter. I absolutely loved the dates that they went on. Some of them were amazing. I loved how this storyline was written. So very sweet and enjoyable. Mia did an amazing job with this one. I absolutely highly recommend reading this book.

I really loved this story! So emotionally charged and full of love and laughter and even a few tears. And the chemistry between these two was amazingly hot. Mia Ford really took the time to develop these characters to be sure that we fell in love with them as they were falling for each other. Absolutley fantastic read and I personally think tmit is her best yet! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

An excellent read. A romance between two geeky people Reese and Blaine. Reese showed her geekiness on the outside whereas Blaine had covered his up because of his business. Blaine meeting Reese and getting to know her was the best thing that could have happened in his life. I loved the way the story followed the romance from friends to lovers to more. I enjoyed the honesty they shared with one another. It is a medium paced book and kept my interest from page one until the end. It showed that everyone felt awkward from time to time and with the right person it can be endearing. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
