But has his Mate changed where he is concerned? Emiliana Bruno is the only female shifter born in their lifetime. She is also the mate of Uberto Orsino , but she sent him away. Afraid he would want to control her and leave her to be a brood mare to their kind. But was she wrong, as that really how Berto thought or felt? En years have past once the last time they saw one another, will the passionate fires burning within them combine into the perfect mating or will they burn out with anger. A wonderfully written story about a love that surpasses their own expectations and reunites two hearts that have had enough pain to last a lifetime. Another wonderful addition to the Orsino Security Series! I can’t wait to see what is to come!! Well Done🌺
I know all the reviews I have seen so far are 5/4 star but I was honestly a bit confused as to what was going on. Uberto returns and sees Emiliana Bruno after 10 years but I felt as though I had missed an explanation somewhere. Things are explained but I even re-read a few pages to check as I didn't know what was going on. I did the fact that although she was immensely attracted to him, she had her issues so she didn't just give in and fall into his arms because he looked at her or smiled at her, as some books have had the heroine do.
I have loved all the Orsino’s books so far. And this book was good but not as great at he others. I feel like it was a bit rushed. Like we skimmed thru some parts what would explain some of the decisions and problems in their relationship. I understand her need to be independent and not to be told what to do. But I felt like I was missing something. I kept having to go back and reread pages thinking I missed something. So like I said good but not great. Was hoping to have a chapter where all the family was together talk about heir kids and how happy their life has been. But meh! It was good.
Uberto Orsino is one determined bear, especially when a clan meeting brings him home to his ancestral village and home to the woman who has always owned his heart. However, Emiliana is still as stubborn as ever and Uberto finds he has his work cut out for him if they're to ever be together. Will Uberto be able to convince Emiliana to give him a second chance, or will the unthinkable happen and they both walk away from each other for good?
I have loved this series from the very first book because the brothers are completely compelling and strong men that fall hard for their Ms. Right and I've got to say that this book was just as good as the first two. Really, it was entertaining right from the beginning, as Uberto is back in his ancestral village and determined to win back the woman that is his soul mate. Will Emiliana give Uberto a second chance?
As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories, their past history and the obstacles they face on their journey to happy ever after including an interfering father that thinks he's doing right by his daughter and the clan with the decisions he makes but doesn't have a clue and overcoming the reasons that kept them apart for so many years. Will either be willing to compromise to be together? Will Emiliana realize that Uberto has changed before it's too late? Moreover, the heroine is strong, brave, and I liked that she wants to help people. I also liked the moment she begins to realize that Uberto is not the same man he was years ago when they first mated, especially when it comes to him being really close with his sister-in-laws and I liked that he was there for the women with his advice.
While the hero, he's confident, doesn't back down from a challenge and I liked how determined he was to win Emiliana over. She's the only woman that's ever had his heart, which is proven by how he responds to other women with friendliness but not his usual charm. I also liked that Uberto doesn't give up on the heroine, even though she gives him every reason to with her stubbornness and her determination to be independent when all she wants is to be his equal.
Overall, Ms. Torres has delivered a fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between this couple is intense and increases with every moment the heroine pushes the hero with her need to be his equal instead of someone he needs to take care of; the romance was hot; and the ending took me by surprise because of what the clan wanted of the heroine when it came to her future, but had me liking that both Uberto and Emiliana were willing to fight for their future together. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up brilliantly, as the Orsino brothers have what they needed most -- love, family and happiness. I would recommend Their Unbearable Destiny by Reina Torres, if you enjoy paranormal romance, second chance romances, or books by authors Celia Kyle, Mina Carter, Eve Langlais and Nancy Corrigan.
This is book three in the Howls Romance; Orsino Security by Reina Torres
What do they say? No matter how much you try to stay apart there is nothing that they couldn’t escape and ignore the attraction and extremely strong pull between them.
Meet the gorgeous Uberto Orsino. Uberto is the youngest of the three Orsino brothers. However Uberto is by no means the baby bear. After her was called back their beautiful ancestral village in Italy. Then it takes just one chance meeting on the cobblestone streets to bring Uberto's past crashing back into his life. Has Uberto eventually learned more than enough to earn his beautiful mate’s forgiveness? Or is Uberto still the odd bear out?
The ever beautiful Emiliana Bruno. Emiliana was very but amazingly unique. As she was the first female bear shifter that had been born into their clan for generations. Especially now to the point where it had seemed that it was only a legend. When Emiliana became Uberto’s mate at the tender age of eighteen Emiliana expected to be at least his equal, there was always a very fine line between gentleman and chauvinist with Uberto.
What did it for Emiliana was when she told him to go, it left her heartbroken. Suddenly now Uberto is back and no doubt that Uberto will make no secret that he’s back in town and Emiliana knows that she cannot only fight her beloved father’s antiquated views, she knows that it will be Uberto, too. Emiliana has always made plans to keep their relationship all ‘business’. Emiliana there and then decided to help and most definitely protect the clan and their town members. Emiliana can defend this place just about as well as the ultimatums that they were all threw at each well other a decade ago. Only problem is that this time instead of throwing down a deadly gauntlet, it’s going to be pieces of clothing.
Will these true and destined two mates finally let their feelings cloud over the obstacles that are thrown their way?
“You and I are oil and flame, Ana. We weren’t meant to mix together, we were meant to catch fire.”
At last, the youngest Orsino brother gets his story told. And unlike his brothers, Uberto Orsino does not need to find his mate - he has found her years ago. But rare female bear shifter Emiliana Bruno is not happy to be his mate. She sent Uberto away 10 years ago and to her chagrin he stayed away. But Uberto is back home in Santa Biago, Italy, representing the Orsino family at a meeting of shifter elders and also hoping to represent himself in an appealing new light to his Ana. But fangs and claws come out, figuratively and literally, when Berto and Ana spar over their destiny.
Wow - there was something about this book that may have made it my favorite of all of Reina Torres’ books! It did not have the suspense or mystery of her other books and series, but…...WOW. The explosive chemistry between these two powerful personalities was conveyed beautifully. It was such a passionate book, and I do not only mean the feelings between Berto and Ana. Ana had such a passion to be who she was - a woman who found herself in a man’s world - and not placed within the traditional boundaries she perceived the men n her life wanted her to reside in. And that’s what I truly loved about this story - beneath the blurb and plot was a vibrant story about an extraordinary woman who wanted to live and love on her terms, not her father’s or lover’s or her society’s terms! It is truly a gem and must-read! Bravissimo Reina!
Their UnBearable Destiny is the third and final book in Reina Torres’ Howl’s Romance series. In this book readers witness the third Orsino brother, Uberto’s, quest to be with his mate, Emiliana Brunno. A decade ago, Uberto claimed her. She is a bear shifter. Both were young and struggling with their dual personas. She demanded he leave, and he did. Went with his brothers to America. Now he is back in Santa Biago, Italy representing his family at the meeting of the Elders. Will Uberto be accepted by the elders? What will happen between he and Emiliana? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.
Ms. Torres pens another delightful and endearing second-chance romance. In this character driven readers follow Uberto and Emiliana’s romantic journey. We see how these two evolve and address their vulnerabilities. I enjoyed Ms. Torres' use of dialog and descriptive language. Through the characters conversations and their internal dialogs, readers get a perspective of their backstories. Readers cannot help but like these two lead characters. This was an enjoyable read. Nicely done, Ms. Torres.
This story contains sex but minimal cursing (no f-bombs). If on-page sex bothers you, this isn't the book for you. Although this book is the third in a series, you do not have to have read the previous two to enjoy this story – it stands alone. (But you should because it's a great series.)
This story was so sweet and so well-written. Uberto and Emiliana were so perfectly matched that it was hilarious watching her try to pretend that she didn't want Uberto. This story, unlike the first two, doesn't have a mystery or a lot of suspense. There is a some drama related to the Santa Biago pack, but this book is a sexy love story about two great characters from start to finish.
The epilogue was my favorite thing and although it was perfectly satisfying, I really wish it had gone on forever because I just love these Orsino brothers and their mates.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys shifter stories, or to anyone who likes a well-written love story about two stubborn but incredibly likable shifters.
After reading the first two stories of the Orsino Security Series, I was really looking forward to this book revolving around the youngest of the Orsino brothers, Umberto. I am kind of split on this one, I really liked Umberto and anticipated what Emiliana, his mate, would be like and what their story was. Umberto returns to the home of his youth in Italy and his mate…Wait? What? His Mate? I liked the story, it was sweet even though Emiliana is not really what you could call a sweet woman; she’s different than most woman and has a little bit of a chip on her shoulder. It took me a while to get to really liking and understanding her. I decided if Umberto can be patient with her, I can too. The only thing I missed in this story, what Salvatore and Valerio had in finding their mates, was a little bit more suspense. I missed the danger and intrigue, but other than that it was a great story of growing and rediscovering one another. I received an ARC and am happy to voluntarily leave a review
Their Unbearable Destiny—-Book 3 in The Orsino Security Series..
A love so strong but so intense nothing Uberto did was right. Maybe they were young, but she was his mate. He wouldn’t stop. If going away like she asked then he would.
Uberto was madly in love with Emiliana. All he wanted was her. He came back after leaving, and he wouldn’t leave until things were worked out between them. He just hoped it would be.
Emiliana just was not ready to give up her freedom. She didn’t want to be controlled. She was discovering her inter female bear shifter, and she was going to live her life the way she wanted to. Well that was until Uberto Orsino came back. Yes she told him to go, but he left for too long. He’s back to take part of his heritage in Italy.
Can Uberto and Emiliana see eye to eye after all these years? What will happen now?
This is Book 3 in the Orsino Security Series. This can be read as a stand alone book. The book starts out with Uberto going back to Italy to attend a meeting in his home town. It's the first time he's been back in 10 years. He's walking down the streets of town when he sees her come out of a door. Emiliana is his mate but he left her. All that needs to be said is he's back and he's one determined bear. The towel has been thrown down and now we just wait to see who wins the fight. You can just feel the chemistry and attraction build up between them. I love to watch them interact with each other. This was such a great read. I hate that there aren't anymore brothers or cousins in the family. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good, warm, snuggly bear.
I love Orsino brothers. This is shifter romance both Emiliana (Ana ) and Uberto are bear shifters. This is second chance romance. Uberto and Ana were young lovers. Even though she is his mate she sent him away. Ana is very independent and strong willed. Part of her is afraid she will not be a good a mate. Uberto is strong and fearless. Uberto comes back to Ana he knows no matter what happens she is one for him. Uberto wants Ana to lean on him. One of my favorite parts of this book how sweet Uberto is to his sister-in law Allegra. Ana finally realizes she can be her own person with Uberto. That she wasted so much time. Now she wants to put her mark on Uberto. This is great series. These three brothers are wonderful hero's.
This is the first shifter romance I have ever read from Reina Torres. I have to say, I loved it! She always writes great stories, and this book is no exception. Uberto and Emiliana grew up in the same village in Italy. Before Uberto and his brothers left the village to go to America, he and Emiliana mated. However, they were both young and didn't realize what they had. Fast forward ten years and Uberto is back in the village to take part in an important meeting. He is representing his family, one of the most powerful families in the region. Can Uberto convince Emiliana that they belong together or are they destined to be apart for good? Get this book ASAP and find out what happens. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.
WOW! What a way to end the Orsino Brothers story! I totally enjoyed Uberto & Emiliana's journey. He marked her as his mate 10 years ago. She felt he would not let her be her true self and refused t be his mate and asked him to leave. Now ten years later he is back in Italy , still in love with her and wants to make her see that he has changed. I really loved that she was a bear shifter also. Uberto was so funny as he knew she could tear him apart if she got mad enough at him. I loved watching their journey to finding their way to true love. I liked hoe he talked Allegra down from her panic attack. I received a ARC of this story!
Their Unbearable Destiny by Reina Torres is the last book in the Orsino Security Series. It is just as good as the first two. If you like Paranormal romances you need to add this series to your TBR pile. This is Uberto Orsino and Emiliana Burma's story. When Uberto goes back to Italy he knows he is going to see his intended mate. Unlike his brothers, Uberto new Emiliana was his mate from a very young age. "Ana" doesn't want to be value because she is the first female shifter in generations but for her own value. The chemistry, sexual tension and conflict between these two fairly leaps off the page. Reina Torres has done it again! A great ending to a great series.
Their Unbearable Destiny is the third book in the Orsino Security Series and I loved it as much as the first two. Uberto Orsino, a bear shifter has returned to Italy to claim his mate Emiliana (Ana) Bruno. After ten years apart will they still be able to connect or has too much time gone by? This is a well written shifter/paranormal romance full of clan family traditions, drama, angst, humor and a great romance. Reina Torres has created an amazing world and made me a lover of this genre. I look forward to reading her next amazing book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I give Their UnBearable Destiny by Reina Torres four stars. This is book three of the Orisno Security Series and can be read as a stand alone. This book was well written and a quick read. If you like shifter books this is a book for you. I would recommend reading the whole series because the Orsino men are hot Italians and who doesn't like hot Italians lol.
Uberto, the baby of the family, has been called back to his home village in Italy to attend the yearly meeting the shifter families in the area have to discuss on going problems etc. Uberto knew that by going back to his ancestral village there was a good chance he was going to run into his mate. Little did he know he would have a chance meeting with her on the cobblestone street of the village as soon as he arrives. When he sets his eyes on his mate for the first time in years all the memories come rushing back. Has he grown up enough to earn her forgiveness and his heart?
Emiliana Bruno is not only beautiful and strong she is also unique because she is a female bear shifter and there are not many of her left in the world. Years ago when she became Uberto's mate she thought they would be equals and when she realized he was not going to allow that she sent him away. Although it was her decision it still broke her heart and left an emptiness in her soul. Now that he is home she tries her hardest to keep thing professional but their connection will not allow it to stay that way. Will these two be able to see eye to eye or will the obstacles from the past keep them apart forever? You must read to find out.
So sad to see this Series end! Loved the three Orsino brothers and their mates. They all embrace the alphas readers love and empowered women that were their equal instead of a complement to them. Probably Uberto and Emiliana were the most fierce and passionate due to their DNA. Their story is spicy, full of passion and heart. It's also nice that the scenery changed and the story takes place in their hometown in Italy. The previous stories were more about keeping their mates safe, in this one it's about saving their love and building a strong relationship. Still, lots of tension were embedded in this story making it the best closure that the Orsino's could get.
Read the first two books ages ago and enjoyed them. Misses the mark for me and we know who will be the boss in this relationship. Apart from the epilogue I didn’t warm up to Emiliana at all. Found her disagreeable and stupidly stubborn. It was only right at the end that she decided to give Umberto a chance but even then I felt she was holding back and for no real reason that I could discern. I also wish there had been more time spent at the end with the two brothers and their families turning up. Why did Umberto stay there rather than go back to America? What job did he do? How was he making a living? I know they are not short on money but no one can do nothing forever.
Finally Baby Bear Uberto gets his mate. Emiliana refused his mate bond when he was a brash young shifter, not willing to be under a man's thumb. His absence did make her heart grow stronger and softer, and made him smarter in how to love her. A foolhardy move by her father is the final push she needs to see the light. A good ending to the series, but a few scenes could have been better - last scene with her father Alphonse was way to short (she undid his plan in less than two pages, no arguing?), epilogue didn't give enough details (how large is the Orsino family, how has Uberto fared back in Santa Biago?). Oh yeah - How do the bears protect the valley?
Their Unbearable Destiny is a paranormal romance by Reina Torres. Ms. Torres has delivered a well-written book loaded with outstanding characters. Uberto is the youngest of the three Orsino brothers and he's back home in Italy and hoping to patch things up with his mate, Emilana...finally. Emiliana and Uberto's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book. Their UnBearable Destiny is book 3 of the Orsino Security Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is Uberto and Emiliana story - a strong and intense and rocky relationship with lots of misunderstandings and obstacles. One filled with determination by Uberto to connect with his mate while trying to figure why Emiliana keeps resisting to take the path to get to their HEA. An intriguing story with strong and passionate characters that will keep you totally immersed to the very end.. One I highly recommend reading -- actually I recommend you read the whole series - its an awesome paranormal romance series.
Sweetly sexy, emotional, thrilling second chance romance filled with misunderstandings and old world thinking regarding relationships.
Uberto is the youngest Orsino brother and is now back in their ancestral village in Italy confronting his mate and hoping he can earn her forgiveness. Emiliana Bruno is a interesting and engaging charter, a rare female bear shifter and so not ready to be less than an equal to her mate. The sparks fly hot and bright between these two as they struggle with their attraction. Highly entertaining romantic journey that leaves you in a happy place.
Uberto & Emiliana Back after a decade away he wants and needs his mate, always has always will, but convincing her is the key... She rejected him out of fear, now he's back and they both want him but that fear is still alive and well... They have smoking hot chemistry that's never died, can they overcome the obstacles and find their way to the HEA they both want and deserve? I LOVED IT so hard!!!! Great characters and a family reunion make this sensational novel a must read from me! I received an ARC to read and review voluntarily!
Uberto did a lot of growing up in the last10 years, but trying to prove it to Emiliana. This is a sweet fast story of finding your true mate and loosing them to pride. Coming back is a lot harder than you'd expect. Emiliana isn't gonna take all the macho attitude from another man in her life. But she is his mate and has his marking. Uberto tries everything he can think of to show her he's changed! It has everything you want in a romantic story. I absolutely loved the third story of the youngest Orsino brother is the perfect ending to the series.
Finally the younger brother reunites with his mate. Uberto had to go back to his village in Italy for the annual meeting. It was not easy for him since he left his mate ten years ago but she told him to go. Emiliana became his mate ten years ago - she wears his mark. She told him to leave because she had to know that he thought she is his equal. Time does change Uberto and he wants his mate back. He has to overcome Emiliana's objections which is not an easy task. They do conquer their past and get their happily ever after. Love the epilogue!
Umberto and Ana knew they were mates when they were young but Ana was afraid of what she thought he wanted her to be. So she told Umberto to leave and he was young and hurt, so he did. Now, ten years later and he can't bear to be apart from her any longer. So, he sets about showing Ana how much he has changed and tries to get her to open up and explain what she needs. It's a great second chance shifter romance with plenty of humor and love. 💞
I love Berto!!!!!!!!! he is my favorite bear shifter in the series. Ana I enjoyed her sassiness in the story and how she kept Berto on his toes. Her father got on my nerves most of the time for sure. There story will keep you guessing if they come together or let true love pass them by. I am sad to see this series end . I fell in love with all the bears but Berto is totally my bear. lol. amazing job Reina Torres
I loved this book. This is the Third book in the series but ,it can be read as a standalone book. Umberto and Emiliana knew each other years ago, he marked her as his mate she is also a bear shifter and worried he wouldn't let her be her true self so, she asked him to leave 10 years later he comes back to her ,he never stopped loving her. I loved reading their journey to true love Thank you Reina for another great read. I received an ARC of this book from the author this is my honest review
I am so glad that Uberto finally was made whole. When I first read the preview from the 2nd book, "His UnBearable Touch," I knew that this was going to be a rough ride for him. He already had a mate over 10yrs ago and now he needed to fix it. Emiliana was one tough cookie. I swear she could have beaten that man down. But love conquers all. of course there was a small twist with her father. That was a bit un-nerving but it all worked out.
