I am glad I didn't just flip through this book and look at the pictures. The lengthy preface is a must-read. It was fascinating to read from Graham that the Edwardian era shutterbug turned the lens away from the atrocities and toward the positive even when shooting for the newspapers. Of course, things are much different, now...
