This a delightful story about an Englisher Widow who needs homemade cookies for his daughter's school class. The Amish owner refuses to sell him her cookies to be passed off as his. Rather she offers to teach him how to make them.

An Amish Christmas is a wonderful fairytale love story written by Samantha Bayarr. It is the first of four stories in her Amish Bakery series. I enjoyed the storyline as well as the characters.

Noel and Hunter did not start out on a good foot. In fact Noel accused him of being a deceitful person and she would not help him. This forces Hunter to step out of his comfort zone and it starts them on a whirlwind journey. This is definitely a story for those who believe in second chances in more way than one.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Samantha Bayarr for writing another fantastic story for her readers enjoyment and the start of a great series.

An Amish Christmas: The Bakery: Amish Christmas Love (Amish Bakery Series Book 1)
by Samantha Bayarr

This is the first Amish book that I have read that moved quickly.
Hunter Darcy is a young widower raising his daughter. Noel is an Amish divorced woman with a daughter. Noel owns the only Amish bakery in town.
Hunter goes to the bakery to order Gingerbread cookies for his daughter’s school. But he mentions what they are for and that they are to be homemade. Noel, tells Hunter, he needs to make the cookies himself. So Hunter feels convicted by her comment. So he goes to the store to buy the ingredients to make gingerbread cookies. He gets home to make the cookies. He has the cookies in the oven and forgets about them. Now you will need to read what happens next.

Baked to Perfection

What a delightful light-hearted Christmas romance. Two single parents with their families enjoy the season. The scene with the single dad baking the gingerbread cookies was a hoot! Well-written with well-developed characters...A must-read.

It takes a lot for me not to love a Christmas romance. It takes even more for me not to love Amish fiction. This book managed to disappoint all the way around.
