It's unfortunate that the person who added this entry did not take a pic of the charming blue cover that looks like marbled paper. It only makes sense that the cover of a book about well-designed books for the masses have an appealing cover. If only this slim 1988 volume were inexpensive. A copy on Amazon runs in excess of $270. Russell Edwards essay on the IB editions is more readable (for pleasure) than Donald Hall's on the King Penguins, probably because Hall assumes his reader has read every history of Penguin. It is only a selective checklist, a starting-point for a starting collector. I'm definitely tempted....
