King and Mel were childhood friends that were more like brothers. They did everything together, even ran the streets of Washington DC. With money comes power, and Mel couldn’t get enough of either. His greed led him to being reckless, and brought heat to King’s operation. King had no choice but to cut ties with Mel, which caused Mel to do the unthinkable.
King, and his wife Leonese, was desperate to have a child, but complications with Leonese health made it almost impossible for her to conceive. Finally giving birth to a beautiful daughter, Aubrey Rose, King and Leonese planned a celebration to introduce Aubrey to family, and friends. Everyone was invited, except for Mel.
Feeling betrayed, Mel make a vow to get revenge on King, using his most precious gift against him forcing King to give up the one thing in this world that he loved the most, Aubrey Rose.
As Aubrey grows into a beautiful young woman, she meets and falls for a handsome young man named Prince, but when the past comes back to haunt her, Aubrey finds herself in a dangerous situation that could possible end her life.

I enjoy reading and writing, relaxing to music, but most of all I love spending time with my family. I worked in the child care field for many years and obtained the education needed to own my own childcare center. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I started writing books as a hobby. But the more I wrote, the more I started to think about becoming a publish author. My family and my friends believed in me and encouraged me to seek a publisher. It took a few more years before I decided to submit a manuscript but I’m so glad I did. I learned so much working with Treasured Publications and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity. The best part of being a published author is connecting with readers and getting their feedback. It only helps me to grow in my craft and I appreciate. My advice to anyone out there with a dream is to never give up and keep striving for success no matter how many people try to discourage you. Awesome
I loved this book. This wasn't your particular urban fiction of a bunch of drugs and killing. This was a story of strong will powered parents willing to sacrifice their lives for their precious princess. King is definitely my new book babe. He treated his wife and daughter like how all men should treat the women in their lives. He played no games. His wife Leonese was awesome I loved how she could calm King down by either a look or by simply touching him. Their love is what I wish to have one day. Aubrey Rose was good is this book. She respected her parents and aunt's. Most teenagers would be rebellious because they don't live with their parents. She was starting to do hinge against the grain for a little while like most teens. I would recommend this book to anyone.

She did that
Wow where to start. This was the first book by this author that I have read! And I must say she did a phenomenal job. I will definitely be reading more. When I first heard they were doing a urban princess series I was a little apprehensive! But after reading this and the first one I can't wait to see what the others are like. Lovedddd it
This is Definitely a must read. Ty Leese put this spin on sleeping beauty and it couldnt have been any better. I loved Prince & Aubrey Roses relationship, they reminded me of her parents. The love they shared was amazing & it was something like a fairytale.

Another great princess book I loved this book i couldn't put this book down I like how you can distinguish between the characters who's who and and loved king and leonese relationship and the love the have for the daughter Aubrey and I loved Prince and Aubrey love they had for one and Mel straight was straight tripping

Loved it!!!!!
I really loved this story. King is a fool, and had me laughing the whole book. I'm glad that Aubrey got her a boo, cause they sheltered the hell out of her. Prince was just what she needed. Can we get Sleeping In The Beauty Of A Thugs Love...The Wedding? Good read!!!!!!

Sleeping Beauty
I really enjoyed this story!!! When digging a grave for some one else dig one for yourself. That’s what Mel should have done. Prince’s love for Aubrey Rose was unmatched. I love the way he stood up to King. This book was a decent length. I will definitely recommend it.

I loved this book!! Aubrey Rose and Prince had a good relationship and I LOVED the progress from beginning to end... king and her mom spoiled her rotten because she did not live with them because of Mel...That Mel???? how convenient that Mel was his uncle Glad they ALL got want was. Coming to them.. Sleeping Beauty ZTasha was such a GREAT friend

This is an amazing twist on Sleeping Beauty. The relationship between Prince and Audrey Rose is beautiful to read about in this book. I absolutely love Prince and his unwavering love for Audrey even in the eye of a Savage Father

This was most definitely a very good book. Aubrey Rose & Prince is such a cute couple & so n love with each other. I can say one thing he ain't no punk & he stood up to King like a man. This was a wonderful love story with just the right amount of drama.

Excellent continuation of the Princess series. Great urban spin on Sleeping Beauty. Rose and Prince were made for each, loved that Prince stood up to King. The loss of Lil Prince was heartbreaking. ZaTasha was the friend we all need in our life!! Definite 5 ***** recommendation.
