Nah I must admit I felt like the storyline dragged out a bit much, but overall I predicted some of these outcomes with the characters with exception of a few. Interested to see if Lola gonna get what she want and if Paulie gonna be able to endure such heartbreak.

This book was a little better than book 1... Still jumped around a little bit and had lots of errors... These were a bit distracting and kind of pulled away from the storyline... but the storyline is building up...
I hate how Naive that Promyse is and how she is just letting Smoke run the show... She is allowing him to just walk all over her and for what... Because he buys her things... How is Promyse his girl yet he does not have time for her... Because we all know that no one is that busy... You always make time for those that are important to you... And we can see how impossible she was to him... Then for him to want his girl to be a part of what he does and not try to push her to do better... I mean what real man wants his girl in the streets like that... Promyse has lost herself with Smoke... She had a pretty good head on her shoulders before she met Smoke... Now he is taking her downhill with him... She keep talking all this love and forever... But she is not making Smoke prove that he is worth that... And no... Just because he keeps buying her things that is not proving it... Actions is what proves it... And right now his actions say that this is not what he wants... Look at all the important moments in Promyse's love that business has come before her and it... Well all ge is doing is making a way for a real man like Siagon to step right in...
With Khy and Paulie things are ok... But again he does not love or respect Paulie enough to not hurt her... Typical man that gets in his feelings and allows another woman to come in and make him think that that is solving a problem... Just for him to get caught up in something that he should have never allowed to happen in the first place... Now he put in all that work to get a woman that was different from all the other woman... Just to allow one of those other women in to meet up what he had... I mean he waisted his time and hers... Let's see how he will try to explain this one away...
Lola is just a hot mess and I really do not like her... How do her friends not see her sneaky backstabbing ways... Well she may soon get what she has been waiting for...
I was glad that Siagon stepped in when he did... He is a good guy and I believe that he is exactly where Promyse needs to be...
See Smoke was out here letting this Throme get to his head that he just knew he was untouchable... Khy kept warning him to be careful because he was moving recklessly... We all see that treating people like dirt will definitely come back on you...
Just when it looks like Promyse can finally find happiness... Now this...

Smoke and Khy, both had some good girls, that they took for granted. Yes, they were every woman's fantasy, however, it didn't make it right to chase after someone, just to turn around, and mistreat them. I didn't see Smoke being the unfaithful type, but he had definitely been moving funny, and not communicating with Promyse, which was completely not fair.
Paulie was all for Khy, but Khy wasn't all for Paulie, which was both embarrassing, and humiliating. Then, to make matters worse, I didn't understand the hold that Saigon had on Promyse, or why Promyse gave into Saigon so easily. Promyse had now reached a point of no return, so the questions to ask now were, would she be by Smoke's side, or venture 0ff to someone new?
Paulie was all for Khy, but Khy wasn't all for Paulie, which was both embarrassing, and humiliating. Whew!!!!!!!
I actually like Bliss. She really was being brutally honest with Promyse about stepping into the game and earning respect. I got a feeling Bliss and Fame is going to end up together. I applaud Smoke for helping Promyse but I started losing respect for him. No man who loves a,woman would want her trapping. Smoke arrogance is going to be his downfall and how he starting to treat Promyse open up the door for Saigon to step in. Saigon seems to be the better man for Promyse anyway. I was disappointed in Khyree. Yes he's young but he should've have more control. Cheating on Paulie is going to come out because Mercy is messy. Lola hoe ass is still up to no good. Even after getting the results that her health could be in danger didn't stop her scandalous ways.

Speechless!
That ending left me at loss of words. Part two picked up where part one left off. Promyse life changes drastically from good to skeptical dealing with Smoke, her friends, and her stalker who brings out the best in her. I'm still in shock she kept true to her word to Smoke. Smoke got caught up in some business that had him busy, and could screw up everything. Khy, and Paulie there situation let me know true love can conquer all and with happens in the dark will come to lift. The new characters kept me intrigued. I can't wait for part three

Promyse really showing out the ultimate betrayal I don't think smoke will ever forgive her. Saigon is the man but he wants an already taken woman. May the best man win. Khy messed up with Paulie by sleeping with mercy cost him his relationship. Smoke is married to the streets and that is giving Saigon the opportunity to get Promyse.... Lola may get smoke after all.

Kellz why u gotta do that? Why u gotta leave me hanging like that? Fantastic read from beginning to the end. Never to disappoint. Smoke and khy have me so disappointed in them. Especially Smoke. He having me jumping teams. He needs to be knocked off a notch...guess it happened. Prob this is an eye opener for him. Somebody needs to get Lola sneaky a**. Can't stand that child. Looking forward to part three.. Hope its soon..very soon!

I like Promyse because even though she let Smoke talk her into doing stupid stuff, she came out of her shell. He wanted her to know how to hold it down so hopefully he don't be all in his feelings once she really boss up. Now Saigon stayed away as long as possible but I want to see how she handle this ending. Hopefully Lola ain't on no more messy stuff and Khy and Paulie get it together. Looking forward to the next one!!!

Promyse had a rough life, dealing with her drug addicted mom who showed her no attention. Promyse started dating Smoke; a drug dealer. Smoke was an arrogant young man. Smoke decided to allow Promyse to be an oversee at a trap house. Paulie and Khy had issues in their relationship with trust and attitudes. Lola was a young lady who wanted what she wanted; Smoke. Promyse has two men fighting for her heart.

My nerves
I get so invested in these books that my nerves are bad. I feel bad for Smoke. Even with his cockiness, he still seems like a good dude. I don’t know if I’ll finish the series because I don’t like the direction it’s going in. Saigon doesn’t seem to be anything special to me🤷🏾♀️

Promyse really irked the heck out of me in this one just like her man Smoke. I just really couldn’t feel the way they did some things. But this book definitely gives a clear definition of different strokes for different folks.

Promyse was looking at life through rose colored glasses. She is so in love with Smoke but he doesn't understand how love & relationships work. I thought Khy was a good dude but he started thinking with the wrong head. He may lose Paulie behind his foolishness. Lola is trifling and the girls better not trust her.
