Shea Finnegan always played it safe. Khali Reza made her break all of her own rules. She was a Catholic lawyer and the daughter of a prominent U.S Senator, who grew up cautious and hyper-aware of public appearances. He was a Pakistani Muslim businessman on a one year visa in New York. It was only supposed to be a fling, but when you fall, gravity has a way of taking over. When Khali must return to Pakistan they agree to make a clean break, and an opportunistic politician swoops in to make his move on Shea. Marco Gutierrez appears to be a perfect fit, but appearances can be deceiving and dangerous. Travelling through New York, Karachi, and London, Fall into You is a compelling story of overcoming differences, finding your strength, and the healing power of love.
Liz Loughlin is a talented new author. Her debut novel, Fall Into You, made me both laugh and cry at various points. The characters are well-developed, and the descriptions of the settings in both New York and Pakistan show that the author did her research. The romance between Shea and Khali had all the hallmarks of a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, and will keep readers on their toes. Highly recommended!
Fall Into You, the debut novel by Liz Loughlin, is an epic love story that takes the reader on a trip from New York to Pakistan while tackling the thorny issues of politics, religion and prejudice in a post 9-11 world. It evoked so many emotions, and I found myself in tears many times as I turned the pages. Highly recommended!
I loved Fall Into You. The story is beautifully written and has you hoping for a happy ending from the very beginning. You immediately find yourself rooting for the main characters and your heart sinks at every plot twist. Once I started the book, I couldn’t stop (and was furious my kids had a snow day, preventing me from my usual commute and time to read). And, of course the “naughty bits” were especially fun. Liz does an amazing job making you feel the passion and romance between her characters, all while keeping it classy. I can’t wait to read her next book!
Liz Loughlin has hit it out of the park with her novel Fall Into You! Shea and Khali are such well developed and relatable characters. Their story is heartwarming and has you rooting for them every step of the way. This book has you smiling, laughing, crying and despising one particular character (you’ll just have to read the book to find out more on that...). Love does indeed conquer all. Well done!
I truly enjoyed this unique love story! The characters were well developed, and the dialogue made them relate able and real.
The love story between Shea and Khali was moving and demonstrated that love does conquer all. Despite that, I felt the strongest writing was in the portion of the book that dealt with Shea's disastrous relationship with Marco and the manipulation and abuse she endured. The support of her brothers and her mother's strength made me wish I was a member of the Finnegan family. Great story from a his first time writer!

I love a story that keeps me guessing as to what the author has up their sleeve! I was hooked from the first paragraph and couldn’t wait to learn more about Shea and to see what was going to happen next. The twist and turns in the plot made it hard for me to put this book down. Liz is an author to follow-I look forward to reading her next novel!
