Fearless Commerce

Fearless Commerce is a celebration of remarkable Black women business owners. The need for this platform came about because of the perceived notion that it is challenging to find successful businesses run by Black women. We knew that this simply wasn’t true and wanted to shine a light on Black women business owners in a way that has never been done in the state of Minnesota. We believe that by honoring and celebrating Black women business owners, through sharing their stories and presenting beautiful and positive imagery, we can help inspire and motivate all people. We can also help further the conversation regarding fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in communities of color. As we worked to bring this issue to life, we were constantly reminded of the significance of Fearless Commerce and the true essence of #blackgirlmagic. Our goal is to uncover those that are excelling in their craft as they transcend social, cultural and economic barriers to successfully sustain a thriving business. As you flip through the pages, you’ll be met with nothing short of excellence, beauty and brilliance. We are honored to be entrusted with a magazine that will tell the stories of so many amazing women. We hope that you enjoy learning about their journeys and of course, support their work!
