A man looking for his place.
Matthew Knight’s got problems he isn’t willing to admit to, and having a nurse babysit him is hardly doing his image much good. Although, Aimee Parker sure is hot and things could be a lot worse.
Aimee doesn’t want to feel sorry for a man who has everything he desires, but Matt is one gorgeous hunk of mixed up male, and he’s broadening her horizons in so many ways.

Matthew Knight travels around the world for Knight Industries. He is also an adrenaline junkie and his body has the scars to prove it. Aimee Parker is a nurse working in the hospital's ER recovery room. She is working the second half of a double shift but doesn’t mind the extra hours. She currently lives alone and has a huge debt to pay off.
When Matthew is sent to the recovery room, Aimee is there to take care of him. Upon his release from the hospital, Matthew's mother offers Aimee the job of a lifetime and a way to pay off her debts faster. She wants Aimee to stay with them and nurse Matthew back to health, ensuring that he follows the doctor’s orders. In return, Aimee will be paid three times the salary she gets from the hospital.
Aimee has some serious decisions to make. Should she accept the offer? After all, it would mean a great deal of money and she would have only one patient to care for. The money is appealing, but where will she work once the position with the Knight Estate is completed? How long is the position expected to last? Can she get a leave of absence from the hospital? Is Matthew willing to work with Aimee and follow her orders? Would having Aimee with him all the time damage his image as a daredevil?
Cheryl Phipps has written a story that has depth, great characters and situations. She has a way of making her characters come to life. I look forward to reading the rest of the Billionaire Knights series.
Reckless Billionaire is the 4th book in the series and I enjoyed it as much as the first three. These are best read in order to get the most out of the stories, but you can still enjoy them reading them out of order. Matt is living a reckless life and ends up in the hospital where he meets nurse Aimee. Through determination by Matt's family, he and Aimee are put in a position where they spend a lot more time together in the hopes he'll change his reckless ways. It's a quick and easy read so don't expect too much depth from the story, but that's OK. It's enjoyable and a sweet romance based around a very strong, loyal family. Matt and Aimee both have demons from the past to overcome and this story takes you on part of that journey. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
I really loved reading this book. It was easy to read and it was one thought provoking story. I appreciated the authors approach to very sensitive and serious topics and great family love for each other. Matt met Aimee when she was his nurse. They both had issues in their lives that they needed to deal with to become the people they knew they could be and be at peace with. A great read. I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy.
They called him reckless, a dare devil, taking chances with his life for a thrill. It was a thrill seeking event that landed him in the hospital, but it was to become a life changing event. Between mother, siblings and his nurse, he started to see from their perspective what his antics were. But, he also found something that made him want to live, a long and happy life.
I enjoy reading the quick series. I was happy that Evan from book one was finally involved in this book with his h. Why he was implied single in prior books no idea. These are short stories and I’m ok with that but not so much with the rushed endings. Epilogue would be nice.
