A gripping story of courage and fear! For both go hand in hand!

Ranger Trujillo tells a story of what's really behind the curtain of combat. It's not tactics or military hardware. It's the people in the fight. Their thoughts and fears and how they handle the Hell thrown at them. It's a timeless story. He reveals much about not only himself but all who have fought!

This book was excellent! After having followed Steve’s writing for years at the http://www.magickingdomdispatch.com/?m=1 I expected it would be excellent. Steve is a writer from the old school, for whom prose matters. Thanks for finally getting this work out there Steve! I can’t wait for the next installment!

A great read for anyone who has survived in combat. I didn't like having to look up some of the literary quotes. Anyone interested in first account/I was there history should read this.

should read this book. Written for combat soldiers who have been there and for anyone who really wants to learn what war is really like.

Outstanding

As a fellow OUF vet, this account was well written and she'd light and detail on some events that had been under or over exaggerated through telling over the years.
