The average reader can consume around 200 words per minute. That Book on Blockchain is a blazing fast, one-hour introduction to the world of blockchain.
Inside, you’ll find an overview of many prominent blockchain topics, including discussion of distributed ledgers, legal landscapes, industry adoption, and Bitcoin, proper. Additionally, you’ll examine several abstract, key concepts through easily worded thought experiments.
We certainly can’t cover every topic in an hour! But, whether you’re brand new to the crypto-space or a well-seasoned guru, That Book on Blockchain is guaranteed to pique your interest and serve as a motivator for further exploration.
Yay, info on blockchain that anyone can understand!
I'm not a coder nor a financial guru, so wanted a high-level explanation of blockchain understandable by a layperson. I especially wanted to know about non-cryptocurrency uses for blockchain. Other Kindle books I tried were unclear and/or had such pervasive grammar errors and typos that it was maddening. This book was perfect; all the info I needed presented clearly and concisely, suggestions for further reading, and a handy glossary of tech terms. If you're tired of not knowing what the blockchain buzz is all about but don't want a graduate-level lesson either, read this.
A book with very basic info that didn’t need purchasing- there are better written blogs on medium and LinkedIN one could peruse to learn what is in this book. Author is selective in explaining concepts: take “Nonce” for example - he assumes the reader would know Nonce.
This book gives a concise lesson on block chain, to help with a basic understanding of the subject. The author himself recommends reading further into the subject.
Very easy read but very informative to a novice blockchainer student. There is additional resource referenced at the end of the reading for additional research material.
A very explanatory introduction to blockchain. Very clear and vivid writing, in an easy to understand language with description provided wherever needed.
This was a very fast easy read on complicated topic. Great analogies serve to demystify the concepts. Also contains a lot of links for further research
