A very unusual offering in children's books, breaking through the stereotype of grannies as frail, absent-minded and "past it" when it comes to fun, creativity and activity.

The faces of the "Superstar Grandmas" were so obviously unique they were clearly based on real people. So it was no surprise to come to the end of the book and find photographs of the actual women used for the artwork.

Alphabetic in arrangement and rhyming throughout, it's a book for grannies to read to their grandkids - or perhaps for early readers, who may cope well with the vocabulary, given a little help.

This book challenges the previous stereotype of who Grandmas are and how they behave. It is written in clever rhyming verses and is lots of fun!
A great gift for a special a grandmother to share with her grandchildren! ✨📚
