Your humble scribe began writing after an old friend suggested I should write a book of all the experiences in our lives.

The Mountain Blue books were the initial product of that suggestion derived from actual events with a splash of imagination. When the books first went into publication, a coworker called me around 2 AM to voice his opinion on the cliffhanger Patrolling The Catskills ended on. He felt much better after reading A Life of Dedication.

Vampire came to be when someone suggested I write a vampire book with no glitter, and, it had to be bloody. After rereading Bram Stoker's work, I delved into the realms of current vampire offerings and discovered why the request was made. There is no glitter to be found; there is however plenty of blood, bites and impaled bodies.

Short Ones is a collection of short stories I wrote along the way. Vagabond is how I would imagine Golan, my dog telling the tale of how he and I adopted one another. Trailer Trash, The Call and The Fall deal with life and love and how it feels when it all falls apart. Parasite deals with an oft debated issue. The Ride came to me when a very lovely woman blew past me on the Tail of The Dragon and Marissa after reading On Writing by Stephen King.

Finding Love is a take off from Vagabond featuring Golan, throughout the story. It was inspired when a woman wheeled into a fast food place I was waiting in line at.

I hope you enjoy,

Poetic

You can tell the author knew his subject. He writes knowing about training dogs in a fictional novel dedicated to those who serve and protecting others. He also speaks with authority of EMT services by Officer Tony Marciano, the heroin. His characters are warm, caring, and rugged. His romantic relationship is always clean leaving what needs be to the readers imagination. It is a little long and drawn out but well written. There wasn’t a lot of action but enough to keep you interested.
