Eleventh Commandment: Freedom Through Forgiveness

Rate this book
As a teen, Smith lost both of his parents within 19 days. He didn't realize the anger he would suppress in reaction to those losses and the depravation it would induce. Despite a stellar start at the U.S. Naval Academy, God had other plans for Smith; after giving him great insight into the realities of the spiritual and psychological scars life inflicts upon us God led him into the counseling ministry. Smith shares God's healing plan for each of us by using personal examples and scriptural insights. A perfect book for freeing yourself from the oppression of past hurts to become who God has dreamed you to become.

I think everyone needs to read this book! He not only shares his completely honest and compelling story of coming to forgiveness himself, he gives practical ways to tap into the very spiritual act of forgiveness. A truly interesting "self help" book with which you are easily touChed and moved by the Holy Spirit!! One of the best books I've ever read!

Wow!

This book was amazing! He cut deep to the heart of the matter and dig out wounds that were deeply hidden. I feel rung out, but free. The best, most realistic book I’ve read on forgiveness.

This is more of a workbook. And outlines forgiveness from a biblical perspective. Good stuff. Some nuggets of wisdom. Wouldn't recommend though.
