In May of 2003, three senior Buddhist monks from the Thai forest tradition of Ajahn Chah – Ajahn Sumedho, Ajahn Amaro and Ajahn Nyanarato – travelled into the Arctic wilderness, 800 or so miles from the North Pole.
Exquisitely written and very compelling. I completed it in one sitting as it was a very short read. It took me right along with the monks and lay persons on their journey into the white cold north.
