About the author

Austrian-born American sociologist and conservative writer.

Schlamm joined the Communist Party Austria in his youth and at the age of 16 he met Vladimir Lenin. He left the communist party in 1929.

Later he moved to the USA and worked for Henry Luce. Later he worked for William F. Buckley's magazine the National review and after that he became an associate editor of the John Birch Society's journal American Opinion.

He is referred sometimes in German as Willi Schlamm

Normal mag ich Geschichtsbücher die eine längere Periode behandelen nicht so. Aber Willi Schlamm's Einzichten als Zeitkritiker fand ich intressant. Das Buch würde als Werbegeschenk gedrückt und vergeben.
