"Brahmachari tackles many different styles and cadences in language that I understand. And none of these poems put me to sleep with repetition. In fact, I was delighted by the constant shifts of meter and the unexpected subject matter. Brahmachari presents a life’s work; there are microscopic moments with cosmic significance. Make no mistake, this collection is a summation of a life. It is an epic"

"If one finds four or five exemplary poems in a book, it is worth a definite read: this collection titled Wet radio and other poems by Goirick B is rife with them."
Ambika Ananth, Muse India, April 2018
"What makes Goirick’s music poems outstanding is the balance with which he scales them. Even as he articulates something as abstract as the sensory experience of listening to music, he melds that experience with the mundane business of everyday living."
"Wet Radio and other poems" took me on a mental journey through disenchanted moments and an artistic conveyance of the theme of drenched emotions, feelings, situations and circumstances. The poet was able to truly create, in worded art, a deep well of thoughts that persuades the reader to look beyond and draw meaning from its depths and delve into momentary reflection.
I also loved the places the poems allowed my mind to visit and Goirick's poetic descriptions of such places really brought them to life so that it was only natural that I too became part of it. And that's what great poetry does... it connects the reader's mind and emotions to the words expressed. Beautiful work by the author.
If rain is the central motif seeping through Goirick B’s Wet Radio, the poems live up to their task of carrying wetness and drenching the reader with soaking endurance. Like his poems, the poet carries a lot, too – the weight of nostalgia and nonconformity, strains of relationships and a disquiet that refuses to be quelled. In all the different themes Wet Radio explores, the poet’s visceral engagement keeps one hooked to his words.
This very act – of carrying impressions from location to location, both physical and psychical – makes Goirick almost a modern-day itinerant poet/songwriter. His sense of place, especially of Northeast India, is acute; at the same time, his is a poetic spirit that defies the idea of rooting in any one place. This impulse to move, even run, lends his poetry both breadth and passage.
