About the author

出生名林婉文。馬來西亞柔佛州麻坡人。十九歲赴台讀國立台灣師範大學美術系、台灣藝術大學美術所。著有《帶著你的雜質發亮》（小寫出版）(入圍2013年開卷好書獎、2013 年法蘭克福書展台灣館選書)、《我不是生來當母親的》（2015年小寫出版）、繪本《貓面具》（個人出版：2015年華文朗讀節選書）、「隱晦家庭」繪本三部曲《海的旅館》、《老人臉貓》、《after》（2016年南方家園出版，華文朗讀節選書）。業餘亂講於「樹人畫學校outsider art school&繪本亂讀會」，寫過馬來西亞星洲日報繪本導讀專欄、南洋商報讀書人專欄，專文收集於部落格「繪本亂讀會」，今年起於博客來「一起看圖文」專欄，也在行天宮附設玄空圖書館帶領繪本讀書會。個人作品與行腳見「馬尼尼為無限公司」。現苟生於台北，育二貓（寶兒與美美）一子。不良人母。不良人妻。

This book on motherhood is rebellious by depicting a helplessly depressed mother, the dark side of being a mother that has long been neglected or blanketed by the culture of glorified motherhood.

In the feminist movement, personal is political.
In the movement of demythologising motherhood, personal is revolutionary.
