”The Touchdown Trap!” starts with a nostalgic Hudson University in 1974 reenacting a football game from 1924.

Dick Grayson is wearing a ‘Jughead’ hat for the occasion. He’s also guiding some of the old timers that have come for the event around to see the old trophies.

Suddenly masked hooligans come in and smash the trophies and glass cases with baseball bats, golf clubs and hockey sticks.

” Don’t just stand there like a dumb frosh—! ”

Dick says he’ll go get the police. Robin comes back to tackle two of the vandals. He takes out three more.

Frank McDonald, head of security arrives.

”….What the fudge is goin’s on here?!”

The vandals just say they were paid to come smash up the trophies.

During the game the 1924 Hudson Beavers are playing against the 1974 Beavers.

Frank invited Robin to watch the game.

Frank says it’s too bad they aren’t using the original ball because it was slashed up during the attack on the trophy hall.

Robin springs into action - he’s got to get the ball they’re using!

Another short but good case that reminds you never to trust anyone over 70!

Artist Mike Grell definitely adds a point to this.
