This series of Post-Apocalyptic novels tells how John Harris leads a group of survivors through the chaos of a country that has fallen apart. Rogue US Government officials and a coalition of Third World Leaders have launched a major nuclear and EMP attack on all of the major powers and killed over 100 million Americans. The grid is down and water and food are scarce. The USA is in chaos with criminals and thugs attacking innocent citizens while the DHS is placing millions in relocation camps. John and his team fight back!

In this third book in the series, John and his team have solved the water, food and weapons shortages. John has become the President of the new ISA and the remains of the Navy, Army and Marines join him in trying to defend themselves against a rogue US government which is still trying to destroy the Independent States of America and imprison its people. The old USA launches several devastating attacks and also tries to assassinate John. Having failed to destroy the ISA, the old USA launches a surprise attack that nearly destroys the ISA's military. John’s team fights for survival against very long odds, but John is a hard man for hard times.

Revenge in the Homeland is the fourth novel in a series of novels that tell how John Harris leads a group of survivors through the chaos of a country that has fallen apart. The UN has been taken over by Islamic Radical countries. The USA is in chaos with criminals and thugs attacking innocent citizens while John and his Team fight the corrupt Department of Homeland Security and the President. John Harris and his team form a new country, the ISA, which is made up of the southern and southwestern states.The USA and the UN have just completed a series of devastating attacks on the ISA. Now it’s time for the ISA to get revenge and stop the UN and the rogue USA from conducting these brutal and senseless attacks. In the middle of all of this chaos, this is also a love story about how John saves Beth and their love grows.

A.J. Newman is the author of over 22 novels that have been published on Amazon. He was born and raised in a small town in the western part of Kentucky. His Dad taught him how to handle guns very early in life, and he and his best friend Mike spent summers shooting .22 rifles and fishing.
He read every book he could get his hands on and fell in love with science fiction. He graduated from USI with a degree in Chemistry and made a career working in manufacturing and logistics, but always fancied himself as an author.
He served six years in the Army National Guard in an armored unit and spent six years performing every function on M48 and M60 army tanks. This gave him a great respect for our veterans who lay their lives on the line to protect our country and freedoms.
He currently resides in Kentucky with his wife Patsy and their three tiny mop dogs, Sammy Cotton and Callie.
