This book seems to forget its topic most of the way through. Rather than talking about the competitive states pedagogy, it more focuses on the history that came before it. It also seems to be a tool for the author to simply praise or critique other peoples work, rather than discussing and argumentation for the topic of the book. I gained nothing from reading this.
