The Social Code : Designing Community In The Digital Age

Rate this book
The new mission is to create communities that become so passionate about your success they create it themselves. "The Social Code" is the community-first book that describes how to build a belief system that attracts others who share your beliefs. Thanks to a 7-piece construct of creation story, creed, icons, rituals, lexicon, nonbelievers and leader, you can successfully design a belief system around people, places and things. This book outlines the tools you need to drive community, advocacy, social currency and growth in today’s bottom-up ecosystem. "Primal Branding" was Hanlon's first book, and it is mandatory reading in YouTube's certification program and there's a reason why. The process has proven itself at billion-dollar companies and by people who want to build billion dollar companies. Google it and you'll see why.

I wish I could give this a 3.5. It was a good narrative but don't expect a how-to-template.
