ග්‍රීක මිථ්‍යා කතාවල එන ඉකරස් හිරුට ඕනෑවට වඩා ළංවීමට පියඹා, අත් තටු උණු වී ඒ අසළ මුහුදට වැටුණු බව විශ්වාස කරමින් ඉකාරියා දූපතට නම ලැබී ඇත. සිය ඉටි අත්ත‍ටු උණුවී වැගිරෙන තුරු හිරු දෙසට ඉහළට ඉහළට පියඹා පොළවට වැ‍ටුණු ඉකරස් ගේ කතාවද?
