Angel Hills Pack #2

Ripples of Threat

Rate this book
Sequel to Omega Arrival

New relationships form and existing ones continue to evolve for the wolves of Angel Hills.

Vincent struggles with his beta mate Craig’s rejection, while alpha mate Kale considers a dramatic resolution to the matter. Gabriel's second pregnancy is even more difficult than the first, and an outsider begins to consider a connection to another omega’s recent troubles. Meanwhile, his and Ian’s secret eats away at the ill omega.

Christopher turns eighteen and, losing hope Xavier might never think of Christopher as anything but a little brother, he accepts another werewolf’s attention. X’s eventual interest proves the beginning of the young beta’s problems rather than the end.

Accustomed to gaining enemies when pursuing what he wants, Canaan learns something new about himself from über-alpha, Duncan, who, long-convinced his extreme needs will never be met in Angel Hills, becomes unwillingly caught up with the bratty beta.

Will the threats to the werewolves’ way of life from both within and outside the compound bring the pack closer together or pull them further apart?

Seamlessly this story continues. The way the chapters alternate between all the characters was excellently done. The focus was on several couples and their dynamics, all completely different from each other. Except for one similarity, because werewolves are sexual beings! So the physical connection is main in this series. I loved the clear and uncomplicated atmosphere about it.

The Pack is strong and committed. It doesn’t matter what plays, fights, jealousy, heats, pregnancy, secrets, they are there for each other. I felt connected with all the characters.

The claiming and marking, the sexual activity during a heat, the awesome amount of hurt, every aspect was well thought out. It all made sense, largely because of the plausible timeline and way of writing.

The ultimate claiming act was the best, it was everything!

Book 1 was already great, I think book 2 was maybe even better.

One thing I can say for sure is that I definitely didn’t enjoy this book as much as I liked the other five books that exist in this universe. Considering how much I liked the other books in this series not enjoying this book as much doesn’t mean this book was bad but it just didn’t meet my, albeit high, expectations.

This book follows five relationships
1. Gabriel, Grey and Ian – from Gabriel’s POV
2. Christopher and Xavier – from both POVs
3. Vincent, Kale and Craig – from Vincent’s POV
4. Duncan and Canaan – from both POVs
5. Roanan and Emory – from Roanan’s POV

Gabriel, Grey and Ian are obviously the most important trio of this book because we already know these characters and obviously there is that secret Ian and Gabriel are hiding from Grey. (At this point I guess it is imperative to mention that this review will not be spoiler-free.) So the one big problem with this book was that we only get Gabriel’s POV and I feel that that was horribly incompetent in showcasing all aspects of this threesome. Since Gabriel is completely sure of his place in Ian’s life he doesn’t focus on Ian as much, also the story is written in such a way that Gabriel and Grey find themselves at odds too many times in this story, this eventually acts as the catalyst that spills the secret, so we just don’t get that much of Ian. But throughout the story I was like waiting for Ian’s POV because that is one POV we have gotten in the past and thus I happen to be overly invested in Ian and now all of a sudden being robbed of his opinion made me feel like I was missing something, but everything was okay till Grey overhears Gabriel and Ian talk about something Grey doesn’t know and then cut to black. Not only don’t we get to see the reveal but we don’t get to see the reveal knowing it was Ian who had to tell Grey the secret and his reason for keeping it from Grey but we also miss Grey’s reaction it to it. I feel like that particular conversation from Ian’s POV would have been a goldmine for character development, but we completely miss out on it. But this wasn’t the last nail in the coffin that was how the author chose to handle the issue of Grey’s sterility by making him fertile. Are you kidding me? And this is the exact moment I started rolling my eyes at this book, like how could the author take the best storyline I have ever read in a werewolf story and resolve it by negating the entire premise for it. Of course, I waited until the end of the book, just hoping against hope that Ian had masterminded something bigger but personally at this point even though something like that would have salvaged the plotline, it might have also simultaneously spelt the death toll on Grey and Ian’s relationship. But the author chose to end the book with Grey having sired Forrest and thus ruining a fabulous storyline, I mean I can feel the haemorrhage from the million story ideas that died a death with that reveal. God, at the end of it, I didn’t even care that Grey and Ian had decided not to have sex with Gabriel during his heats, like who even cares about that. Also I feel like the major reason there was so much unnecessary focus on Gabriel even though truly it was Grey and Ian’s relationship that was most affected by the secret was because this trio’s story was only being told from Gabriel’s POV and frankly writing this review makes me wonder if Gabriel isn’t a bit too self-absorbed with the way the story was only about him. In fact, in this book, I came to resent the focus on Omegas like why wasn’t this trio written from Ian’s perspective because I feel Ian’s POV on their storyline would have made for more balanced storytelling.

Now onto the next disaster of this story which would be Roanan and Emory, thankfully they don’t take up much footage in the book, so they didn’t impact much on my overall experience of this book, but I couldn’t totally ignore them. Emory is an interesting character, he is someone I want to know about but the only limelight he gets in this book is when Roanan comes to see him as a mate. Now frankly I detested that we didn’t get Emory’s POV because since he can’t speak getting to know him without the benefit of conversation was always going to be an uphill task in which the crutch of Emory’s POV would have been priceless but the author decided to forego the crutch. Now what ends up happening is that Emory becomes invisible, so Roanan and Emory’s story is basically Roanan talking about himself and falling in love with Emory and giving him the mating bite without knowing a thing about Emory. Like how can this relationship even exist, you don’t know zilch about each other and the worst part is that Emory’s disability makes it look like Roanan took advantage of Emory which doesn’t do one thing to smoothen my ruffled feathers.

Christopher and Xavier make a nice couple but somehow I am not that invested in these two. God knows why. Personally, right now they have a pretty solid storyline that I look forward to reading in subsequent books especially if the author handles this particular twist in any way other than just negating that it ever happened. Another thing I have come to resent with this author is that she often leaves out important scenes and then introduces them as having already happened – like the reveal of the big secret between Ian and Grey and now we know Christopher and Xavier were talking at the end of the book as Canaan comments on it but for God’s sake I hope it isn’t the moment in which Christopher decides to come clean because I don’t want to start reading the next book with the fact that Xavier already knows. Christopher and Xavier have an amazing story ahead based on the very interesting setup they got in this book, if only the author delivers on it, these two might be characters worth getting invested in.

Canaan and Duncan are kind of the PWP portion of this book but they are a welcome relief from the drama of this book. For some reason, I am already very invested in these two and even though they don’t have much of a story to tell in this book whatever we got was amazing and I am really looking forward to their story.

Vincent, Craig and Kale were the saving grace of this book. I didn’t particularly remember Vincent by his name but his situation was intriguing enough that I recognized him by his story. I loved how Kale thaws the ice between Vincent and Craig and I just really loved their entire story. These three characters are amazing and I would love to read more about these three.

All throughout the book, we have characters that remark about River and his pack. There was one direct comment about Jax and David and how they wouldn’t last and I just want to say that if this is foreshadowing, then I would absolutely hate that direction of events and I have no idea about how long the river of tears would run in that case. But on the whole, I liked seeing the different perspectives on River’s situation and it’s interesting to see how everyone almost unanimously agrees that it was humans that were the downfall of the River Wolf Pack.

Overall, this book was not as good as any of the five books in this universe. It had good bones but I feel like a lot of the potential storylines were aborted and that really sort of damaged my reading experience, but even now I am excited about future storylines and hope for some kind of resolution to those haemorrhaging story ideas.

Ripples of Threat is the second book in the Angel Hills Pack series, following Omega Arrival. In that first story, we see the pack bring in five new omegas, including Gabriel and Vincent. That book focused primarily on Gabriel’s mating, as well as that of omega Justin, who mates with the pack’s second in command. While we see bits of the other three new omegas as they settle in, that story focuses almost exclusively on these two. This book picks up the story, this time expanding the focus much wider to a variety of the couples/triads in the pack and we have multiple storylines going on throughout the book.

I think this approach is what works best, but also what causes the most challenges for the book. On the positive end, I liked getting to know so many members of the pack and hearing their stories. It works particularly well in a shifter/pack story because these members are so connected already, and so the story flows naturally among the different members. While some of the stories get more page time than others, we get to know a variety of characters and James is able to get a surprising amount of information about each of them across even with their limited focus. So I think the author manages to intertwine these stories in interesting ways and I found the book to be entertaining.

After enjoying the first book in this cross-over series from ‘River Wolf Pack’, I was interested to see if any of my thoughts and possible pairings were going to come true in this second installment. Based on the description, I can honestly say I had concerns as to whether the author could adequately keep all of the different storylines going without it becoming confusing. I was excited to reacquaint myself with some favorite omega characters so I was hoping I would enjoy this tale as much as I did the previous installment.

It has been a year since the end of ‘Omega Arrival’ and it was nice to see Gabriel’s son doing well, although a little behind developmentally due to his premature arrival. Gabriel is pregnant again and his mates are over the moon. Christopher is in love with Xavier although the older alpha only looks at him as a good friend. Unfortunately, no matter how hard Christopher tries to forget his feelings for Xavier, I knew something was going to come to a head there. Xavier is doing better than he was when he first arrived at Angel Hills but he still grieves for his mate who died after an attack by the Turned. Vincent continues to have difficulty with his one mate, Craig, and there is definite tension in that threesome, which I hoped Kale, their third alpha mate, would help with.

This was a hard one for me for a few reasons. I felt Gabriel’s pain so much in this one, especially at the end. Because I knew that feeling all too well myself. But it’s been hard in other ways too and good in a lot of ways. It’s been a heck of a ride. Times are changing, some good, some bad. And hopefully, book 3 will let us know how good or bad things are going to be.
As with the other book, this one is told from several different viewpoints. And I love that. I love to see what others are thinking and what their opinions are. Some are good, some not so good, and some in between. But the truth is, things are changing. Xavier has finally discovered why he is so protective of Chris, but messes things up a lot. Canaan realizes there’s a side to him he didn’t really know about until getting ‘to know’ Duncan. More omegas are having babies, some older children are discovering who and what they are. But worse, the secret of what Ian and Gabe did is about to come out and it’s about to lead to some trouble. Gabe is already having trouble again with this pregnancy. Worse than with little Finny. But all the stress is making things even harder and between it and Gabe’s hormones, it’s finally reached a breaking point. And now, Ian and Grey and a few others have to find Gabe and work it out before he or the baby could die. Thankfully, another omega helped them in time. But will everything be ok after or will it be too much?
Whoo. This pack has been through some drama in this one. And right now, I don’t know who I feel worse for. Gabe for what he’s about to have to endure. Chris for what he has endured and now feels like. And so on. There’s been some good developments. Vincent has finally settled in with his mates, Canaan has found what he needs, the other omegas seem to be flourishing with their mates. And a widowed wolf has found love again. But it’s still traumatic in some things. Werewolves have been raised to believe certain things about themselves and those around them. Some haven’t had that benefit, because of bad parents or the loss of them. So some of the shifters feel out of place. Some are just butts that need to be smacked, I think anyway, but hey, if that’s what someone else needs, then more power to them. I just know that at the end of this, a lot of things have come about from throughout this story and some things are not quite a happy ending. And I’m hoping with book 3, we will see a happier pack. This pack seems to thrive so well and I hope it continues to do so. They’ve worked so hard to get to where they are.
One heck of a book. Can’t wait to dig into book 3 and see how this ends up. So many loose ends in this one. It’s not a cliffhanger, per se, but there’s a lot more to these stories that need to be told.

Ripples of Threat by Rebecca James is the second book in the Angel Hills series. This book is a mix of steam, supense, mild kink and pack dynamics. The story is interesting, the characters interesting and the whole series was great. These shfters are a little more animal-like with markings than others i'm use to but still interesting. And mpregs are a favorite genre of mine so im having fun and enjoying this series. Can't wait to read the book in series next.

"Ripples of Threat" is the second volume of "Angel Hills Pack" series by Rebecca James. Although the previous part of the series was quite good, this one is definitely better. Let's start with the fact that the story covers the pint of view of more characters, most of which we already know and love. What's important, each of the characters has something different to offer, we see a different depth in each story, a different problem we can look at from the perspective of the human psyche, society, and values. Just to give you some examples, in this story we see the topic of guilt, jealousy, serious health problems, unrequited puppy love, weakness and thoughtlessness of an alpha who's near an omega. To be honest, in this novel there are so many topics worth writing about, even if only in a few words, that it's impossible to put it in a short review. After all, each leading character represents a different problem, different dilemma, different subject, or in some cases even more than just one.

In "Ripples of Threat" another very interesting theme are the BDSM practices. To be honest, it's probably the first time I've come across this particular thread in a book about shapeshifters, and what's more in an mpreg. That's why I love the fact that the author herself explains to some extent the rarity and uniqueness of this motif. Well, werewolves don't engage in this type of erotic games, it doesn't turn them on. And yet it turns out that even among werewolves there are some exceptions. Oh, yes, there are. Rebecca James not only perfectly selected the characters who engage in BDSM practices, but also fantastically showed the dynamics of their relationship. I'm really delighted with the way in which the author found a place in this story for two lost, underestimated heroes.

ATTENTION, THIS PARAGRAPH CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS!

END OF SPOILERS

I have to admit that while in the previous volume the universe of the series was outlined rather vaguely, in "Ripples of Threat" it becomes much clearer, arouses more emotions, is closer to us, and we finally begin to understand its dynamics. What's more, we don't need to see some beings with our own eyes to fully understand their place in the world of "Angel Hills Pack". The best example is probably the fact that in the case of the Turned, we can really feel the fear our characters feel, even though these mindless beasts are only mentioned. Personally, reading about the Turned, I was thinking of some zombie beasts, although I know that this image doesn't correspond to what we are dealing with in this world. However, it undoubtedly had the expected effect, because a certain "trip" to the forest really made my heartbeat a lot faster. So when it comes to the universe of the series, in this volume I definitely started to like it more.

To sum up, "Ripples of Threat" is a truly good novel that engrosses us completely, makes us addicted to the characters as we really want to know their fate as soon as possible. This is by far the best volume of the series and it's really worth reading.

____________________________________

„Ripples of Threat” jest drugim tomem serii „Angel Hills Pack” autorstwa Rebecca James. W końcu każdy wiodący bohater reprezentuje inny problem, inne rozterki, inny poruszony w powieści temat, a do niektórych z nich możemy odnieść nawet więcej niż jeden.

I to jakie.

UWAGA, TEN AKAPIT ZAWIERA ELEMENTY SPOILERU!
KONIEC SPOILERU

Niewątpliwie przyniosło to jednak spodziewany efekt, ponieważ pewna „wycieczka” do lasu naprawdę przyspieszyła mocno bicie mojego serca.

To zdecydowanie najlepszy tom serii i naprawdę warto go przeczytać.

What a great read. Getting to see all the Omegas Betas and Alphas again, with a few new characters. Sweet story at times its heartbreaking you can't help but feel part of the story being drawn into the situation. Great Addition to the Angel Hills series and the follow up to River Wolf pack and Cascade City Pack. Highly Recommend.

Once again, we visit the omegas of the Angel Hills Pack as they find their mates and start their families. The thing I like the most about this series is that the story isn't just about a single Omega, but you get the POV of many Omegas and even their Alphas/Betas. This moves the book along without any points in the story that drag or seem boring.

This book continues the story of Gabriel, who is now pregnant with his second child and deals with how he (along with his Beta mate) is still hiding a big secret from his Alpha mate Grey. This is a story-line that had begun in the first book of the series and gets resolved in this book. The book also follows Vincent, the Omega who was mated in the last book to an Alpha and a very reluctant Beta. It was great to see what had happened with the tension in the relationship between him and Craig. There is also a story-line with Christopher and how he deals with his crush on Alpha Xavier, a situation that is complicated by Christopher's young age and Xavier's unresolved grief over his mate's death from a few years before. I was a little less enthused with Caanan's story-line since I never really liked him since the beginning of the River Wolf Pack series, but he did mange to grow on me a little by the end of the book and I am even looking forward to seeing his new relationship develop in the next book.

Though five of these Omegas and several of the Betas are from another series, the River Wolf Pack series, it is not necessary to have read the previous series to understand and enjoy this book but I do recommend reading the first Angel Hills Pack book, The Omega Arrival, before diving into this book since many plot lines that are continued here were started in the first book and might not make sense otherwise.

This is the second book in the Angel Hills series, and the story is written much like the first. A lot of story lines going on at once, with more focus placed on a few.

The book is entertaining enough that it isn't a struggle to read, but as with the first in this series, the development of the relationships are spread too thin. The common thread between the two books is the focus on the triad of the pack alpha and his beta and omega mates. I hate to say this, but I was happy the conflict in the book centered mainly around them. It felt like karma.

I was also glad to see Vincent's relationship change and grow. There was a decent amount of focus on their triad as well. However, the author then introduced three more couples, which is what stretched the story too much IMO.

I think I could have enjoyed where the author was going with the new pairings, especially Duncan and Canaan, but again, there was no depth and very little development. I'm sure at least two of the three will be followed up in the next book; i just don't enjoy the overabundance of story lines.

I did enjoy this book more than Omega Arrival, but I think a lot of the reason behind that is because I was happy that what really bothered me about book one came back to bite them. Also, readers should remember that while this pack is enlightened in some ways, it is mostly a "traditional" pack in many ways.

* I received a free copy of this book and I am leaving my honest opinion. *

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

Love the characters and storyline

This book is better written then the first book. I still believe the author is focusing on too many characters lives. I think this book had like 5-6 different character POVs. That again made difficulty keeping up with timelines and all the xtra background people. Will say my biggest pet peeve is the writer will cut a characters POV off right in the middle of a good scene, and instead of jumping to a POV of the other person involved in the scene your now in a new characters scene that has nothing to do with anything you read. Basically leaving multiple story cliffhangers. Which isnt fun to read when you abruptly end a spicy scene in the middle of it.

Besides this kinda bouncy writing style the characters are great and the story does draw you in. I did get wrapped up in most of the characters lives. There was a couple I think it wasn't as necessary to have their story be a main part of the story.

This books continues the story of the Angel Hills pack. I enjoyed the multiple points of view. It gave a fairly deep insight in to each of the matings. It continued the story with the main players and added a some new faces to the mix.

Reading about the dynamics of each group was very interesting. Their deep devotion to each other was sweet and hot. Although I’m not to sure about scent marking. Usually when I read a series about multiple couples I have a favorite but I like all the characters very much so I can’t really pick a favorite. Maybe Christopher and X?

Because I haven’t read any of the connected series I was a little confused about who was who in the first book. I had no issues with this one, the characters just slotted into place very nicely. Nice story.

I received an arc of this book.

This is the second book in the “Angel Hills Pack” Series & I quite enjoyed reading it. I am not going to repeat the blurb as I feel the author covered the story-line of this book quite adequately. The plot is well-written & filled with intriguing situations plus there are some unexpected new arrivals. The characters are well-developed, fairly strong-willed & delightfully interesting with a variety of traits.
There is: drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, action, adventure, secrets, pack dynamics, wolf shifters, alphas, betas, omegas, self-esteem issues, emotional turmoil, insecurities, mild kink, grief, regrets, complications, verbal conflict, misunderstandings, jealousy, memories, attractions, longings, medical issues, surprises, some steamy scenes, contentment & a satisfying conclusion but there are still some unresolved issues that might be cleared up in the next book.

Rebecca is one of my auto-buy authors. I love the packs that she creates and the wolves in them. Angel Hills is the third pack series and is off to a fine start. This 2nd book is light on drama but draws us in to the lives of our pack in Angel Hills. We become closer to them and see what is going on in the lives of the 5 Omegas that chose to transfer there. While not heavy on drama the plot is not boring. Part of what I love is that we actually see the pregnancy and family life in these series. That is what draws me to MPreg and Rebecca does it in a way that just pulls at your heartstrings. It is easy to fall in love with the characters.

Just a note that this is sort of an ensemble cast. Each books follows more than one couple. So you need to read in order for best effect. At first I was not sure how I was going to like it but, with this second book, it is cemented as a unique way to tell the story. It's like getting a panoramic view of what is happening and so, even though it is a romance with romances in it, there is this almost screenplay or tv series feel. I'm really enjoying it - and I cannot wait for book three!

I met the author at GayRomLit and she was so nice!

Ripples of Threat is the second book in Angel Hill series and follows the relationship of several members within the pack.

This book continues with a pregnant Gabriel and the effects that a secret with his beta mate that they are keeping from their alpha mate. This storyline began in Omega Arrival and gets resolved in this book.
Ripple of Threats also continues with Vincent’s relationship with his beta mate, Craig and alpha mate, Kale. Craig’s unwillingness to give Gabriel the mating bite causes a tension within their small family and forces Kale to take action.
Several other couples are introduced in this book and we follow them, as they all fight hard to settle into their relationships.

All in all, an enjoyable book, and I can’t wait read the conclusion to this series.

This is not a standalone, as it continues the stories of characters already introduced in Omega Arrival, with the addition of some new faces.

The blurb pretty much says it all and it was delightful to read through, because the storyline is an incredible mix bag of multiple points of view, a whole range of emotions, sexiness and, thanks to the pups, cuteness. I'll even admit that my favorite part was the situation between Canaan and Duncan, and the kinky spiciness of their encounters. And now I'm buzzing with excitement, waiting for the next book in the series. Can't wait!

The story continues with Milo & Justin and Grey, Justin and Gabriel. Good side characters and few more added. I liked the new emerging romance between Christopher and Xavier. The story line with Gabe’s health problems was kind of hard to read at times. He had self-esteem issues on top of low confidence, but he emerged better in the end. But overall a good story

Their are threats from the humans that are affecting the Omegas that are giving them problems with their health. The Alpha Mate has been darted by the humans and the humans are also going after packs. Everyone is finding their fated and struggles for the twins, the Alpha gives the Omegas a place that they can be together because they require hugs and cuddles. Thinking that they are not good enough always in their minds. Great story with lots of love and fighting for love.

The author focused on various relationships but she seemed to leave out the POVs that would have given the book a whole different level

As a threesome, having Gabriel, Ian and Grey’s POV would have been insightful. This issue was the same for other couples which I found incredibly frustrating.

Another great add to the series. Angel Hills are at it again with more threats coming their way. What I like most about this series is there are a lot of characters to love and it might be a quick read but full of all the things you need. Everyone is trying to get use to their next steps in life and have their own struggles to deal with. Don't want to say too much for spoilers but angsty feels await! Can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

I liked that this was a continuation from the first book and that Grey, Ian, and Gabriel’s relationship was further expanded and developed. I was also pleased to see that Vincent got his HEA with his Alpha and Beta. I really like this series, I just wish that there weren’t so many individual story lines so that characters could have more depth. It’s a whirlwind to keep up with so many couples.

I loved Ripples of Threat, getting to know more of the couples and still getting more of Justin & Milo’s and Grey, Ian and Gabriel’s stories. I thought it was very interesting, with a little bit of extra angst and adventure. Plus there was more to learn about other packs and a little about human/werewolf interaction. Again, it was fast-paced, great mpreg, sweet love stories. Totally recommend it.

Wow this one definitely follows a bunch of different couples, but flows nicely throughout the entire story. I was happy to read more about X and also about Roanan.

I felt like this one focuses a lot on the triad and their emotional relationship with its ups and downs.

Continuing on from the first book. The relationships grow more and new relationships happen. You get an even more feel for the pack and how things work. I enjoyed this second book and continued onto the final book.

I really enjoyed reading this book though it does follow on from the previous book in the series as we have the same main characters as well as other ones. I enjoyed mix of different stories and look forward to the next book.

It gets better.

This one was so much better than the forest one. I really get to know the omegas better. I was able to get attached to them as well as other characters. I hope we are able to get some answers to some health questions in the next book.

This was such a wonderful book. It continues with the lives at Angel Hills and we see a few new characters join in the story. It also had some heartache but overall was a loving story. I'm looking forward to the conclusion.

This is book 2 of the series and I was hoping it would focus on just one couple this time. I found it hard to really get into this story because it jumps from one couple to the next . Overall it a good story but you must read this series in order.
