What a lovely story a colleague has written for his daughter. We are going to use it to introduce him to our upper elementary students as he reads the story and shares his talents as a self-published author and illustrator. What a neat model for our students to see that people they work with daily have lives outside their "normal job" too!

Very cute little picture book about the importance of perseverance. Lila the caterpillar seeks the help of her friends to try to learn how to jump, and despite her physical limitations, she learns all she can and doesn't give up.
