3.5/5 stars. Gorgeous GORGEOUS photography, some nice tips re color theory/color matching. Not as many actual projects as I was, for some reason, expecting (which WHY? There are 12 projects! Makes PERFECT sense! I’m a doofus). The 12 projects included are explained really well and are really pretty and surprisingly pretty simple to create. I wish there were more, lol. I think any “issues” I have, personally, are COMPLETELY “me” issues, not related to the book itself, but to my preconceived notions. Once again, I’m a doofus. * shrugs *

Purchased the book online and the colorful motifs on the cover is what attracted me to buy. I love to crochet, but the projects in this book are nothing new to what you will get online for free. Hello Pinterest! Nevertheless, it has step by step instructions for special crochet stitches and it's quite handy with its informative color combinations of yarns.

Bright, rainbow palette of simple crochet projects. The cover motif is about the most complex thing in the book - and it looks more difficult than it is. Appealing book design and layout, copious photography but not a lot of actual projects, and nothing really new or inventive.
